It's not the first time a schumann defense got torched. His Db's aren't ready after years of teaching. It's one game, but that level of play certainly raised an eyebrow. When a QB can stand back and throw dimes like UT or Miss from last year, we have a problem. Hopefully, he will double efforts and handle Bama better.

Spot on !! The fact he had 2 weeks to prepare against Bama and Fla and came out flat is frustrating at best . Hope they come out hungry because the crowd will be electric . I sure can’t sit through another tide win .

what if TENN is really that good and one of the top five teams this year. Then look at the dawgs performance last Saturday and see how good Georgia can be. GO DAWGS!

Agree 100% this is correctable. Most of the miscues, and even going back to the Bama game, were executional. They were in the right scheme, lined up correctly, and covered the right guy (except for the 3rd UT TD when there was miscommunication between the CB and the safety), and the problems were associated with the final execution of defending the ball. Yes, that’s a very critical element, but Schu and the rest of the staff will get it ironed out and play heavy and hard.

Does BOBO get validation for all the run plays up the middle. They worked well . . . .

need to see continued improvement on the right side of the OL. To me, that means Glover and Hughley for now. Need to keep a keen eye out for the injury recovery progress of Gaston and Greene.

Yes, and Kirby probably needs to seriously be on the lookout for Schumann's replacement next season, because if he and the Dawgs do well this season, he's probably going to get offered a HC job somewhere.

SWPO4- yes, I think Bobo get's validation for his running game adjustments. He's getting close to 200 yards per game, and they know it's coming. Gunner's legs make a huge difference, because they force safety's to stay home. His downfield and Tight End passing also helps freeze safety's and Lb's. If you are going to run outside, you have to run up the middle some. That's why having glover and gaston play well really helps. They are improving. We'll see how they do against Bama's front.

We talk about the right side of the offensive line... the left side wasn't at that much better. You can't get cohesion if they are in and out out and in. Put Bo Hughley in there at right tackle. Have no clue for the right guard

The only time I was really frustrated with Bobo was in the second half when we needed points badly he continually ran into a loaded box wasting valuable downs. Other than that he did okay.
