You guys aren't looking at this, the right way...IMO.

The fact that Kirby's Dawgs just rolled in to Rocky Top and ran all over the Vols....with what I consider a relatively basic defense with a 3 or 4 man rush...should be a harbinger for good things to come.

I believe, Kirby tested his DB's out to find the weak spots. He held back the pass rush options for Alabama and that Williams kid. You can't give him time to break free.

Bama on the other hand....is probably working on getting the ball out fast. Timing plays and QB designed runs and draws, can throw a "good" defense off...if executed properly and called at the right times.

Unfortunately for The Tide, though....UGA has a "great" defense. Which means....they have an answer for anything you throw at them. You may win the 1st qtr....but, that's it.

IMO...If you are playing the Dawgs...you better darn well start out with a lead. And, pray for the Dawgs to shoot themselves in the foot, with penalties, turnovers & panic.

UGA Bulldogs don't do those things...BECAUSE OF....Kirby Smart's Training Program. It's just that simple. One day ESPN will catch up...and it's gonna be too late. Lol

For what it's worth, my dad was born and raised right up the road from McAfee and he was neither obnoxiously loud or a blowhard, but he was a yankee…nothing divisive about that term that I am aware of. You disprove of my comments, then I apologize but I will never apologize for calling Pat McAfee a loud obnoxious blowhard.

Yes, the D line has to bring their A game, or it will be another shootout, which may not end well.

I believe we've seen the last of the shootouts for a while. At least until the playoffs.

Imo…That's what Kirby is preparing for. Not the first time he was willing to risk a loss, in order to test his team's resolve and ability to overcome adversity.…not to mention, his defense.

If you don't have that characteristic working for you.…you probably won't be a Champion. And, that's what Kirby's "Why?" is....when it comes to coaching...imo. Win Championships.

An early season loss against Tennessee wouldn't make a dent in the Dawgs chances. However, blowing out every team from here to the Natty, does nothing to improve your resolve or your chances. Just sayin'.. Kirby's Smart!

Btw.…just watch what happened to the vaunted 2005 USC Team against a Texas Team teeming with resolve in Natty, 20 years ago.

Folded like cheap suit....cause, they hadn't had to face that kind of Offensive firepower from the QB position in their league [PAC10]....much less real adversity....during the season.

Yep. The only time I watch Game Day is when Dawgs are involved with it. I didn’t mean to get anyone angry over McAfee. I don’t hate him, I just don’t care for him. His sense of humor to Me is very stale and he has no where near the football savvy that David has. But those are My opinions, others might think he’s the best thing since sliced loaf bread and that’s just fine.

Another thing is it’s sort of sad to see Saban sitting there making Even More $$ when someone else with good football savvy Needs the job much more. I’m talking someone that really knows the game. Saban ought to be like Spurrier and Richt and others make occasional guest appearances on different football shows but let some young person raising a family that knows football really good get in there and make some of that $$

No I’m not contradicting myself as McAfee already had an ESPN sponsored podcast Before he got on Game Day.

Lol...I wouldn't worry about pissin' people off, Navy. Some people just look for a reason to be insulted, defamed or offended.

Got no time for that foolish'ment. It's counterproductive to debate. And, debate is how we learn. Which explains a few things, huh. Lolol.

I get what you're saying....but, look...ESPN maintained what I thought was a fossilized android for a decade or so. Come to find out....it was an old ball Coach, Lee Corso. Lol...coulda' swore I saw Herbstreit blow his nose after Corso sneezed....and his lips moved when Corso talked. Idk.

They [Big 10/12] always make allowances for their own;....and ESPN (etal.) is practically owned and operated by the Big10, Notre Dame and a few teams in the far West.

Don't tell me they're unbiased! That boat don't float. There's no such thing as "unbiased" in CFB...and, that includes the referees. That's the real "Fantasy Football".

A good Head Coach [Kirby Smart]....approaches his season strategy with that in mind....imo. It's almost predictable. Lol...you have to include the hype factor into the equation. It can have an impact...either positive or negative.

Right now....Kirby's Dawgs are getting some doubt and disrespect. Who do you think will benefit from that, the most?....Bama?....or, UGA?

Mmm mm...."I love the smell of Rat Poison in the morning....smells like...afternoon victory". Lol...little flashback for ya.

You're right of course. Free speech is a God given Constitutionally protected right. My comment was meant to be directed towards what I perhaps incorrectly identified as disrespect towards a voice I believe all Dawg fans should pay attention to, honor, and regard with something akin to reverence. Everyone is of course free to ignore my point of view about such matters.

Respect is earned. David has earned it. We should bestow it.

While I'm over the moon a week after our victory over Tennessee, I'm aware we were lucky to have an opportunity to win in overtime. Your comments about our edge rushing are certainly valid. Our pass rushing game and disruption in the backfield game are works in progress.

    Go, Dawgs!

When she was on Paul's radio show I learned that she knew a lot more about football than him.

Remember the Georgia running back who ran into her on the sideline and asked her out?

Laura is only one of the reasons I prefer SECN to the other show.

    Go, Dawgs!
