Despite the Bulldogs earning a 35-14 win, Smart was still pressed on the status of his pass rush. The Bulldogs had 2.0 sacks, but one of those came in garbage time.

IMO.…UGA has "pass-rushers" galore. But, for whatever reason...they aren't trying to rush the passer. At least, not very often.

It's like, Kirby's holding those defensive "cards" close to the vest. He's not trying to use any disguises or designed pass rushes for the most part.

I look for that to change going into the Ole Miss game. Like Kirby said....HE sees it in practice. That confidence is good enough for me.

We'll see the "Pass-Rush", when Kirby's ready to use it...and, not before. Despite all the "questioning", as usual. Lol

Go Dawgs! Great Game, all round. Great kick Thorson. You'll earn, the Ray Guy Award...if you keep that "2 yd line" business up.

So he would be willing to lose the Bama game by keping it close to the vest?

Not plays. Formations. Keep watching and learn. Lol

They aren't "secret plays". I'm talking about a variation of looks, movements and shifts used to disguise pressure and confuse a quarterback.

I just haven't seen some of their best stuff, yet. Same on offense. We haven't seen a lot of what they CAN throw at you.

I think it's probably got a lot to do with youth & inexperience. Kirby's probably adding a few things, each week.

Which is why I say....by the Texas Game.…UGA should be virtually unstoppable.

    Go Dawgs!

On a separate note....did anybody notice that Penn State and Notre Dame are the only 2 two loss teams in the top 25, this week. Hmmm....wonder why.

And Tech keeps marching up the Polls!. Can't wait to see em play Miami in the ACC Championship.

UGA's remaining schedule, is getting tougher, every week. I predict a lot of 2 & 3 loss teams in the SEC this year. In fact....I suspect the 2 teams meeting in the SECCG will both have a couple of losses.

They might have to dust off the old tie-breaking flow chart for this one. Lol

Just my humble opinion but I think it’s a lack of healthy beef on our defensive front. We’ve got beef but not healthy and/or inexperienced. Hall is playing dinged up and perhaps a little tentative to. I surf couldn’t blame him if he is after the extensive surgeries he’s had. McLeod is probably still learning and maybe the same for Miller who I was hoping for much more and better production.

Not getting sacks from the defensive front but the very few we get are more so from inside and outside LBs. Maybe the sacks will pick up. But even if they don’t maybe we can get enough pressure on QBs to skew their accuracy and/or make them throw to quick and off balance.

All we as fans can do is hope for better each week. Go Dawgs !!
