    Stock up - left tackle.

Didn't Branch fair-catch a ball at about the 5 against Bama or someone else earlier this year? Once is plenty enough to learn that besides fumbling, it's the biggest mistake a return guy can make.… and easiest to avoid. Love his skills, hope they shine brightly the rest of the year. Go Dawgs!

Gotta give some love to the O line for this week. As banged up and slapped together as they are, they are taking care of business. Would we like to see it better, absolutely, and with some consistent time together, I believe it will. I've not been a big Bobo basher but those that have, should throw some love his way for the past few games. He has called great plays and minus a couple of execution issues, DAWGS are undefeated.

One thing with Branch - get him the ball more, regardless of how you have to do it. Watch how Miami uses the Toney (#10) kid in their offense. He reminds me so much of Branch, and they get the ball to him in every conceivable way because he is just like Branch - magic with the ball in his hands.

Defense could be stock uneven. Just can't figure out this much talent just seems to be 1-step behind in so many of these games. Worry about running QBs giving us fits, and Arnold at Auburn can move when he needs to. Need a responsibility-sound game from the D and the offense to provide protection, and DAWGS will have another win.

This team will go only as far as control of the LOS lets it. Both sides of the ball. With all the injuries and the youth, only time will tell. I'm still hoping for improvement, but we are doing pretty well. As we get into the meat of the schedule the lines will be tested. Still gotta find a havoc-producing pass rush...from somewhere.

I was out of town this weekend, so didn't get to go, and only "watched" the game through score updates. Started watching it last night and yes, that fair catch at the 4 was a real head scratcher…

This game was a real step up from last week, for sure.

Pleautue dawg and others keep saying Searls has to go. Says he not doing his job. They keep saying most of the coaches **** in general.

    But,

Connor says UGA is developing talent on the Oline.

Who are we supposed to believe?

Not due for high praise as yet, but ER IV has out of this world athletic skills. His interception in the end zone Saturday and even his misguided and certainly mistimed Superman leap into the pile against Alabama demonstrated that. Hopefully he can be taught how more effectively he can use his body to make tackles.

The O line is nowhere near at the potential it could be. Top linemen aren't coming to Georgia to play for Searles like they did for Pittman and Luke. The coaching part isn't as good either. No O linemen were gotten from the portal either.

OK I’ve been pretty harsh on both Searls and Bobo. But they Both deserve a tip of the cap for this game. That said maybe this “patched up O Line” is the best version ? At any rate when people do good Coaches & Players they deserve some appreciation.

So Bobo and Searls and the Players by and large deserve credit. By and large the majority of mistakes were with second and third string players in, and Even then there were some shining stars in those groups. Go Dawgs !!

A solid game which was expected against a weak Kentucky and after the humiliation at home against Bama. We now have a much bigger challenge against Auburn @ Auburn. Remember, this is a team that had one score losses to Oklahoma (#6) and Texas A&M (#5). We are just 3.5 point favorites and if we fall back to overconfident we will be in trouble.

    For this game:
    - Coaching did great (Up, maybe soaring compared to last week)
    - Stockton was solid
    - Pug was looking amazing and possible first string… until that Interception which was just a pure failure. To be expected at his age and experience level, so I'd say "stock even". Clearly potential there though. Next year will be interesting in terms of QB battle.
    - Overall Team stats good (3rd down conversion, # of first downs, Total Yards, Passing vs Rushing yards, no fumbles)

Lots of reasons to be very positive, but we MUST continue.

@flipside Eat crow? Kirby is the best coach in college football, there's no debate about that. But they didn't do a great job against Alabama. That's just what happened, DeBoer got them twice. It happens. Not often to Kirby, but Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame also had a good plan. You can't win them all.

Schumann needs to just resign. Then all that defensive talent will come out from the shadows.

It's happened nine out of the last ten times, MikeGriffin Massachusetts…. "That's just what happened." Wow…. what is the absence of intellect called?
