UGA is so young. Watching The Film Guy on you tube as he breaks down our O line play, it's obvious they are young. Our center keeps missing blocks and the freshmen seem lost at times. This will be a great team next year, but it will take a super job of coaching to get them over the hump this year. Even with great coaching, nothing makes up for experience. Miami has multi year starters. Having said all this, keep in mind, Miami's coach lost to Ga Tech last year with a Heisman trophy QB.
Just a projection, seedings may (and probably will) look completely different by season's end. Especially since top 10 team(s) are losing on a weekly basis.
No worries about Beck, UGA can handle him, especially since he trashed-talked Kirby and the Dawgs after he left. Kid was a gold digger…sorry. I have far more confidence and respect in Gunner Stockton. These pairings will look totally different in a couple months.
God...I hope so! That would be a gift, for more reasons than one. Lol
BUT....They have to get by Tech first. And, I don't think they will. Just sayin.
In fact....it's just as conceivable, that UGA may have to beat Tech twice this year. Once at the end of the season....and, again in the playoffs.
Lol....Tech COULD be undefeated at point of first contact for the Dawgs. When was the last time, that happened?.
Yeah.....i'll be pulling for GT & Miami in the ACC. Those could be the 2 teams representing that Conference, this year, in the CFP.
I'm loving this "new" CFB. Best College football watchin' material in my lifetime. Every week is a "must win", for somebody. Even when half the top-tier teams are on a BYE.

So you have a link to that trash talking? I've seen several videos of him talking about his time at UGA and they're always positive. He loved his time at UGA.
First things first. Beat Auburn. That will not be easy.
as of today Miami looks like the better team. Bain would either be lined up opposite a true freshman RT or Freeling or Hughley at LT. He would have Gunner seeing ghosts. Gunner has already taken a beating so far this season.
Not sure our pass rush could impact Carson as of today. Given time and familiarity with our defense I believe he would carve us up. His OL is very good and we don’t have a DB that can cover Toney (not many teams do).
If our team magically starts rushing the passer better and protecting Gunner on passing downs, then I would change my mind. As of today I don’t think it would be close.
UGA COULD meet any one of 10-20 teams ….. Clemson, Penn State and Texas COULD be three of the top 4 teams in the country… Manning COULD BE Heisman front runner…. UGA COULD loose a couple more games and not make the playoffs … DN COULD come up with some of their own creative material vs rehashing what ESPN and other national media predict.

Gotta lot of growing to do before talking about a playoff run. Carson practiced against better D-lines at UGA than we have right now. If defense wins championships then Miami has a decided edge,presently.
