Georgia opens as surprising TD favorite over No. 5 Ole Miss on Saturday of SEC showdowns

Kirby Smartâs 20-10 win over Auburn on Saturday was one for the memory banks -- for fans and UGA players needing a reminder of how quickly things can change in a football game.

No surprise here
Gotta pull for the Vols...
A crazy football weekend keeps getting weirder. I was hoping Georgia would be the underdog for more fuel for Kirby’s disrespect mantra.
TD favorite. Did they watch sat game? Stop drinking so much!
Prediction is Alabama would get South Florida in the 1st round of playoffs? What the heck. And we would get Oklahoma, the team that beat Alabama the last time they played each other. Who did Bama pay off to get that arrangement?? Now, I know the matchups are just a prediction at this early stage, but I just thought that would be a classic Bama move. LOL.
we get the game at home and ole miss just struggled with wazzu at home
Do not fear…..the match up predictions will drastically change weekly. This is starting to look like the whackiest season of all time with 3 of the top 4 preseason teams (Texas, Clemson and Penn State) out of the “top 25”. Well, Texas barely jumped back in today, but the others are long gone. The way things are going we could easily see some 3 loss teams in the playoffs, but I’d certainly feel better with 1 and not take my chances. Go Dawgs!!!
I hate ‘em but we need the hillbillies to win to remove the alabama head to head advantage.
And the them both lose again, just for good measure.
Wait until Penn State swings for the fences and offers Kirby the moon. I'm joking of course because Kirby's buyout is a staggering $105 million. Nice work if you can get it. The rest of us get 2 weeks severence and Cobra.
They would have to lose twice to not have the head to head advantage. One loss won’t do it. The fsu loss won’t count in conference standings.
Georgia is 33:13 -1 vs Ole Miss all time. Why is UGA being almost a touchdown favorite is a surprise? UGA has beaten Ole Miss 20 Times in Athens.
Wonder what the first half line is?
6.5 point favorite? That's crazy—I'll have what they're having. It'll be interesting to see how the betting money flows during the week with those numbers.
Wshington St gave them all they wanted and then some. THey were fortunate to beat them.
clearly looking ahead
