Hate to hear it, but our TE/WR Rooms are crazy deep…Next Man Up!

Hate this for him. Colbie was the guy. One of the plays that stands out to me was against Bama - Colbie was basically in a one-on-one with the DB. He's running what looks like a hitch n' go - Colbie fakes a quick inside move as Gunner does a pump motion, the DB bites on it, then Colbie bolts forward catching the ball and running into the endzone. Special player.

Prayers for Colbie’s full and speedy return, this had to hurt mentally as well as he was playing very good. Not to just brush him aside as it will be hard to replace a guy like him. But guys like CJ Wiley are gonna just have to step up and stake their claim in this team.

Now is a time for Wiley and maybe others to Really showcase their skills at a critical time when it matters most.

Noah Thomas is playing good but he’s gonna have to ramp it up even more so.

We ALL hate to see injuries especially severe ones happen to our good Dawgs, but They would want as We do and KS and staff certainly do for that Next Man Up to play his heart out !!
Dawgs are a game past the midpoint time to Win the rest of them and seal the deal !! Colbie is a great Dawg he’ll be back !! Go Dawgs !!

“What about Dillon Bell? That play Dillon Bell makes, probably that broke the game,” Smart said.”

Bell has what it takes to pull off an explosive play, or make a key block down field. He’s an incredible football player and athlete, and I think he can be the difference maker that UGA needs to get to the SEC Championship and beyond.
    GO DAWGS!

Two possibilities for the downvote: either someone didn't appreciate your obvious take about Thomas, or "Mr. Florida Fan Who Has So Little to Talk About Because of How Poorly His Team Is Playing This Year" felt the need to click a button.

I could be wrong, but I'm probably not.

Dillon Bell is best when he’s third or fourth option. Like he’s been so far this year.

I was glad to see the dude back in action. Last season was such a weird thing. His legal situation was part of it. He really seemed to be making strides toward making a name for himself as a very particular kind of WR. We have few details about the intensity of the injury, but it doesn't seem like something a person just comes back from. The way it's sounding, we are not likely to see him again this year. I don't know what that means for next year, but I wish him all the best one way or the other.

Just a question guys Not saying it’s a viable solution. Colbie is 6’4” so at least one of the things that probably helps him be successful ( although I’m sure there’s much more) is his height over a shorter CB or Safery. Again just a question. Elyiss Williams is 6’7” and he’s already shown he has good hands. I realize he’s a TE but wonder if he could be successful taking some of the targets that would have gone to Colbie ? At 6’7” he’s definitely got the height. Still have Sacovie White-Henderson but at 5’9” strictly in terms of height you’d be going in the wrong direction. CJ Wiley is same height as Colbie at 6’4” but less experience. I Like what I’ve seen of E. Williams so far, Big, Strong guy that can battle for the ball !!

@navydawg That's not a bad idea. Could always put him in as a hybrid tight end. Williams has a lot of upside and his size does create problems for the secondary. It worked well for Bowers but then again that was Bowers!

i think he has the speed to do that. I think that would be good for plays in the red zone because that’s a huge target any DB is gonna have trouble covering.

@Kasey @Stiffneck Thanks Guys !! Yeah with his height and to me he looks Strong has good muscular weight. We saw earlier in the season he has pretty good hands. As Kasey said and I sure agree in the red zone he could give rival DBs fits. Unless it’s a fairly equal height defender or has excellent jump skills Williams should win most jump balls.

Let’s call Kirby !! Click Dial Tone !! Now wait a minute here Kirby !! 🤣 Thx for the feedback guys !! I’m sorry that Colbie got injured and wish him the best. But sometimes you can have a hidden gem and not really realize it. Off Topic but I’m anxious to see Dwight Phillips back and Fully healthy. That kid has Blazing speed !! And though I’d hate to see it wouldn’t shock me to see R. Robinson hit the TP he seems to have fell completely off the map at UGA !! Sad because when he was fully healthy he could push a pile of defenders. Go Dawgs !!

Aw Man !! Bowers !! Don’t we miss that guy !! He was a phenom once in a generation player !! Loved how he always gave the credit to his teammates !!

Colbie is, IMO, a lock to become a really good NFL receiver. He's got all the attributes they look for. I hope he can give us another year—-anybody know his eligibility status offhand?
