Let the young man enjoy his life as he sees fit. After all, you're only young once, enjoy it while you can!

I was at the game with him, actually sat with him as a body guard to make sure no one spoke to him

@JeffSentell Hey Jeff as you probably already know West Laurens HS defeated WestSide HS to go 10-0 !! First time Ever the Raiders have went undefeated. Ty Cummings played a significant role in making that happen as you are well aware. So when you see Kirby next put a bug in his ear about Ty. After all at this point there’s only One RB in the 2026 commits. Surely there’s room for one more !! Onward and upward Raiders !! Ty ended the Ten game regular season with 1,844 yards, averaging 12.1 yd. per carry, and 19 TDs. Not to shabby at all !! Oh and set the state record for most yds. in one game at 617 yds !!!

Go Dawgs !! Go Raiders !! Go Ty Cummings !!

I've had my heart broken by prettier girls than Jared, it is what it is. Sounds like a lot of posturing by his camp to make sure there is a bidding war so he gets every NIL dollar he can squeeze, either way the wind blows, Georgia will be ok the next few years. Gunner is coming back and Ryan will be in waiting…

As far as Curtis goes I hope he comes to UGA with as little drama attached as possible. But and until these kids actually sign a LOI and get on campus we really can’t count any of them. It is what it is with this NIL stuff. No need to get your hopes up on any of them until those things happen. Like @Gramster said we’ve got Gunner and Two Ryan’s waiting in the wings and others like Ginn. We’ll be OK either way. Go Dawgs !!

He makes me think of Trindon Holliday that was with LSU !! Only Ty has about two more inches in height and 15 lbs of weight. Compared to the vs Baldwin HS vid clip This one is boring !! He scored 8 TDs and rushed for 617 yds in that game setting a state record !!

Gunner came from AA Rabun County HS. WLHS is AAA. So sometimes you can find some gems in these smaller schools. Ladd McConkey came from a small school and had offers similar to Ty but Kirby was wise enough to see the potential in Ladd. Imagine Ty at his 5’8” hiding behind our big O Linemen ? And as you said doing kick and punt returns which he Does at WLHS ! Think Isaiah McKenzie the Human Joystick !! Ty could be the same !!

The reason I’m so excited is he’s from my old hometown of Dexter, population of about 450-500 people. And I graduated from WLHS the original football program started in my sophomore year of 1973. It’s Huge for us for a person to go to UGA at all, but on an athletic scholarship !! That’s HUGE !! Johnnie O’Neal a LB from there went to UGA but he got injured early on and things just didn’t pan out.

We had another kid for the life of me I can’t remember his name, I think he went to Clemson and then on to the NFL. I’ll get his name and come back. I deeply Apologize if I’m getting on people’s nerves with this but it’s a big deal to me. And in honesty I don’t even know Ty Cummings. I do recognize some of the last names of his fellow players. I bet I went to school with their granddaddy’s !! 🤣

I'm with you, @gramster. His coach said a lot of words, but he DID NOT SAY, "Jared is all-in on Georgia. No need for Bulldog fans to worry." I do think they want to use the possibility of Vanderbilt to coax some more NIL dollars out of Georgia, and perhaps they will. But I think Georgia maintains an advantage over Vandy in that it is no sure thing that Clark Lea will be there next year. Still, after the Dylan Raiola episode, ANYTHING is possible. Now, let's go beat Florida. Go Dawgs!

I bet Curtis had fun with that one...Lol...I know I would. Everytime he trips or winces...it's a story. Lol...and, him following Lea around. They ALL got a laugh out of the online gossip mongers, I'm sure.

I'll bet Kirby and Bobo knew what was happening. They probably welcomed the distraction. Lol

Go get em JC...take the ring.

I know one thing...if i was a high school recruit in today's CFB market...AND.…Championships, Coaching Staff and Team Chemistry was important to me.......

I would have to weigh UGA very heavily when considering some of these "unproven" Programs with short tenured coaches.

If you selected a school like LSU or ND or Penn State.…or, Miami....you're betting as much on the Program as you are yourself. And, one man cannot win a Championship. It takes a whole.team.

I'm just sayin'...."Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldogs....there IS no substitute!!!", if you know what i mean. Lol....why take a chance. Either you're Elite.…or, you're not. We know what the Dawgs are.

IMO....There's no guarantee that....Norvell, Cristobal, Deboer, Sweeny, Freeze, Sarkisian, Belichick or even Freeman....will be coaching at their respective institutions come January 31.

And, THOSE jobs will be filled by other coaches, "successful" at their current institutions. Leaving MORE openings.

    Lol....oh my....what is a recruit to do?

I'll tell ya what....pick UGA and you won't have to worry about it.

Until he signs, who knows where he will end up, but I am tired of the comments about Curtis and NIL. Before he committed, it was down to Oregon and UGA. It is well documented that Oregon offered way more than UGA.
