The difference between winning and losing with these two programs has been razor thin. The game is at Starkville at 11 am following an emotional win over Florida. The next game is vs Texas (looking ahead). MSU just got their first SEC win in over two seasons and want more. There are many reasons this line actually could be generous. The Dawgs will have to battle hard for 4 quarters again to beat MSU.

Another battle for sure. No easy games left on the schedule except Charlotte and even they will want to make as much noise as they possibly can.

My biggest concerns ( in addition to the Usual ones) are the injuries that were sustained vs UF. So you’re right as rain it’s more than apt gonna be another to the wire battle. Just Get That W !! Don’t have to be fancy, just Win !! Keep doing that and it’ll all fall into place. Go Dawgs !!

Agree. Yes they do matter. When you have two teams whose records are very similar and everything is considered they also take points into consideration. I don’t want to Lie and say I’m absolutely sure about that, but I’m reasonably sure I heard them say that when the playoffs first came out. Got where I can’t trust my poor memory anymore. 🤪

Some trivia about bulldogs but True. This was way before I was even born. But my GrandDaddy had a bulldog that would leap up and grab a mean bull by the nose and no matter what that bull did that dog would not let go !! Finally after a lengthy struggle the ole bull would just collapse out of total exhaustion and my

GrandDaddy would take his walking stick and pry that dogs mouth open to free the bull. They did this to break mean bulls that would try to ram you.

If you look it up on the internet they used these dogs for a sport called bull-baiting which was banned in England in 1842. These bulldogs have now and had then very powerful jaws. Their noses are sort of pushed back up in their face allowing them to breathe when they are clamped down on the bull’s nose. So perhaps that’s OUR Dawgs way. Clamp down on the rival’s nose and Don’t Let Go no matter what until they are defeated !! Go Dawgs !!

funny when the media writes about the Florida win they discount that Georgia could have scored again at the end and the score would have been not as close but since Kirby decided not to it looks as if Georgia almost lost. That game could have been a larger victory if Georgia hadn’t keep hurting themselves

We did too. We called those, "Bombers". Don't recall using the word Aggie. But, I'll take your word for it. Or, Jerry's, anyway. He's a good ole boy. Lolol

    Go Dawgs!

I haven't watched a single MSU game this year, but looking at the numbers, it does not seem like they have much of a defense. 452 yards to the lizards, 450 to a pretty poor ARK team, and 466 to UT? Granted, we gave more to UT, but there seems to be a defensive trend for the Frenchies (sorry, but their bulldog is not a DAWG). If we bring the same offense we put up against that other team from the crooked-letter state and make sure to clean up even some of the issues in the secondary, and this one should be a non-issue.

Miss St. only lost by 2 pts. against FL on the road and could've easily beat Taxes at home. I think this game may be more difficult than the FL game.

their offense could feast on our defense. But their defense may not be able to get our offense off the field. I think the best defense this game will be to play less defense.
