Great team effort by our Dawgs! I actually believe potentially not making the SEC game may be a blessing. We should hopefully move into top four after Bama’s loss. That would give us two weeks to rest and heal up if this turns out to be the case. Charlotte should be an easy win with backups seeing playing time then take care of the gnats and we should be in good shape. I believe playing in the SEC game last year took its toll on us even if we did get a nice trophy for our efforts. Again, incredible win. Very proud of how this young team has grown and gelled. Kudos to the coaching staff for their hard work and dedication to making this one of the premier programs in the country! Go Dawgs!

Coaching A+....that includes Bobo and Schumann. Special teams...tough night for Brett, but one helluva call with that onside kick that could have easily blown up in Kirby's face.
Held Texas to net 23 yards rushing (includes TFL on Manning) and we gained 128 yards.
Gritty, tough, defensive battle at the line. Dawgs developing and coming together at the right time on both sides of the balls. Gunner is a much better QB today than 6 weeks ago.

Connor, what does the offense have to do to get an A from you? They put up 35 points and made plays when they needed to. I get the five possessions with no points and one turnover, but come on. 35 points in the biggest game and win combo since the 2022 tenn game?!?!
Gunner was responsible for 5 TDs. Stellar performance. Lone mistake was the pick. A
The Defensive unit, even while losing CJ Allen, gets an overall A-. Great dominant effort late in the game but Texas had a case of the 'dropsies' in the first half.
Only downside was Thorson didn't have a good night.
I sat there last night after the game was over somewhat stunned by how we had dominated Texas. I thought it was gonna be a close pretty close game. This team is a different animal than we saw back at the first of the season. I'm doubling down—maybe Gunner can do what Stetson did—looks like his surrounding crew is really coming on. What a game!! Have to give the coaches an A+ as well. The advantage Texas had with two weeks to prepare and the turnaround Georgia did you would have thought they had the week off . It sure Is fun to see a young team grow up . Go Dawgs !
I also meant to mention. Sanford stadium crowd at Dooley Field gets an A+. The atmosphere was electric, crowd noise caused a couple of false starts and just helped to completely demoralize the Longhorns when the Dawgs started dominating the fourth quarter! Go Dawgs!

Did Kirby need help toting those ginormous balls up to the coaches podium. Gutsy calls!!! Great coaching all around against a team with its back as far against the wall as it can be.
A very nice win for the DAWGS! Texas has not beat UGA since joining the conference. And 83 yards rushing in 3 games vs the wannabe bulls tells me the DAWGS defense did their job very well. And in doing so, they made ut look like an average team at best those 3 games..GoDAWGS!
Breaking News: Ohio state and TAMU has beaten every 3-6 team in the country. The Strength or Record data point. A metric created by the Big10 to put a number to how good you are at beating bad teams.
That onside kick really showed Kirby has huge ones making that call at that time of the game.
@ lucydog..I figured it would go down to the last minute myself. Even predicted ut would miss a 2 point attempt late in the game, and DAWGS hold on for a 31-29 win. DAWGS held up their end of the deal, Texas not even close lol
Texas your reward for scheduling Ohio State is you don’t get to go to the playoff. They say tough schedules will be rewarded and that’s the reward. Should have scheduled like Indiana. Y’all will beat TAMU.
