Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Wow!
Benefits of beating Texas kicking in.
Go, Dawgs!
Love it! Still, hard for me to get too excited about a HS sophomore's commitment.
So a 14 year old kid in his second year of high school “committed” to us.
I’m sure he has talent but he is in the midst of year two of a four year program. I’m sorry but, so what? We just watched the “end all, be all” high school quarterback get schooled.
This kid sounds like the kind of player that will fit right in to Kirby Smart's Elite Football Culture. He has a great work ethic. He will be tempted by other schools in the next couple of years but hopefully honors his commitment today. Will help define his character.
We will probably have a hard time holding onto all those young men but it appears we are going to have some great choices
and yet here you are commenting on it
I hope he sticks to the commitment. Is this Gunners last year or can he return? If he does I look for Pugs to transfer with the high profile kid coming in next year
WOW—-Fromm, Fields anyone?
2028 is a long way away and that gives the usual suspects time to pool together a bag to lure him away at the last second. Justus Terry anyone? 'Course his decision isn't looking too good right now, but hey he got paid, right? Texas had a 30 plus million dollar NIL team that's lost 3 games. They threw all their QB eggs into one basket based on a last name. We, on the other hand, have a blue collar QB, who has an uncanny way of rallying his team and winning, often taking hits that would put a "big name" QB on the sidelines... Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard...
So I’m commenting on a story on a page I read frequently? I make a lot of comments on this page and on a variety of topics. I don’t think I’m seeing the issue here.
And yet you are commenting on my commenting. I noticed you didn’t vote down or yap about the others saying basically the same thing. It seems to me the problem is yours.
Cool bro
Gunner is just a junior and can return.
While I agree with some posts about not being too excited about a commitment this early, I would rather he verbally commit to UGA than another team. Time will tell, but his talent seems undeniable this early in his career.
Let the bidding begin!
We already know of 2 teams (Mia, TX) that watch who commits to UGA then goes after them with more money.
2 years will be a very long time to hold the commitment of a 5* QB before signing day.
