Actually, I always say "someone ELSE'S experience is the best teacher." He should avoid making a mistake by learning from others. But, hey, sometimes we learn lessons the hard way.

If he chose Vandy over UGA, I question his decision making ability to call an audible at the line of scrimmage.

Curtis will have the same feelings Arch Manning had when he gets to play Georgia as a starter …PAIN!

Kirby has stated publicly That he will never pay for a freshman that has never played a down of SEC football, the same as the Juniors and Seniors. Fine with me but, we will never get the game changers we used to get before NIL. That said, I think we can win with a high 4 star at any position as long as the full roster is built this way. Otherwise, the big buck schools will at over time take us over. See how many games we won by a hair!

Just came here to see if the news were true. I do not put much faith in 18 year olds and their word when it comes to money. Competition at squads is all but gone as everybody wants everthing easy. If he is getting guranteeded playing time there then so be it, I don't worry about players until they are actually signed and on the team. This was not a lost to me because he was never here.

I think the funny thing about all of this is that if the shoe was on the other foot, Vanderbilt would be weeping in the streets.

These attention guys don’t prosper in Athens. Wherever he lands, UGA will be fine.

Call me cocky for the dawgs….I like our 'waiting in the wings' QB's. Of cource thats if the TP doesn't hit our back ups (pugs and montgomery, etc)

    GA wins most of these.

NIL indeed is the great parity equalizer, the downward trend of number of borderline Top 100 247Comp recruits continues…

    2021 - 9

    2022 - 11

    2023 - 12

    2024 - 11

    2025 - 9

    2026 - 8 and holding

Like I said in an earlier discussion, perhaps less money and time spent chasing and courting 17 year old's like Jarrett and more money stealing proven commodities in the TP from other programs appears to be the future of our beloved once upon a time amateur sport…bummer. NFL lite with no restrictions…

Head and shoulders above? If that's the case then we should have never won another game when we didn't get Head n Shoulders Manning last year, yet here we are…11-1

This kid isn't even ranked (.992) as highly as Justin Fields (.998) was, and we all know how many natties he brought home to BucknutU after we lost him to the TP. Losing any one player will never be a "big blow" to the program that Kirby has built…never…

Everyone on the staff said it wasn't about the money.

Maybe it was about the money.
