The only thing he has to be is the best QB for Georgia. Nobody cares what the analysis snobs think.

I wonder how the basketball team did in their last 4 games. I heard a rumor that the baseball team is 7-2 and 2-0 in series wins so far this year. I wonder if the UGa women are still ranked…how’s the golf team doing?

Dang Conner, “Cover 3 Podcast” doesn’t like Gunner? OMG, Gunner should just quit football, and start his cattle ranch today, so maybe Danny Kennell will like one of our other QBs. This is the dumbest post ever by Conner Riley, and my first ever criticism of Conner.
thinks some of these commentators/critics need to put down their controls of the John Madden football game…suit up for once in their lives, get the crap knocked out of them, get back up and then come back & let us know how easy it was to see all those open receivers they saw…OR, go back to the peanut gallery where you belong and continue.
thought Gunner had an exceptional year when all is considered, he certainly exceeded my expectations. without him, 11&1 and SEC champ would have not been possible.
glad he has the ability to tune out the noise, he’s one tough SOB - mentally & physically - lucky to have him.

As history tells us these rankings don't mean jack… yet our DN feels the urge to write stories about these nothing stories …. constantly!!!
It’s easier to regurgitate nothing stories than it is to create new interesting articles about the other sports programs going on right now in Athens don’t you know!
I did not read the article because Gunner still needs to improve his passing game. I don't care what anybody says or thinks about his game.
I have to believe that Gunner makes the jump. Branch leaving is the best thing that could have happened to him. Throwing to the sideline and letting Branch run is not a legitimate offense. Sacovie-White ain't Branch so they will see that plugging him into the sideline and run play is not going to cut it. Stockton must, and I believe will use the between the hashes part of the field more, and I also believe that the tight end room is going to be a big part of that. The run game outside of Gunner's runs will continue to improve as well. Defense needs to come out on fire game one as well. Things come together and them Dawgs is gonna be hell like Stetson said.
The picture below looks familiar! Is that the very same Arch Manning everyone had picked as the frontrunner for the Heisman last year? From what I saw, there’s no way I could pick Manning over Trinidad Chambliss! As 80 Grad said below, all Gunner has to do is be the best QB for UGA! Gunner has a winner mentality and a leaders heart. As long as he stays healthy we’ll be fine. Pretty sure all Gunner wants is team wins, not individual rewards! Go Dawgs!
Believe the use of Branch was:
1) he’s an incredible weapon.
2) the young OL did not allow Gunner time enough to go downfield as much as we needed to.
Branch will do well in the pros imo. Agree, thinks their chances Dawgs improve next season.
Don’t blame Gunner, the defensive backs were picked apart in the playoffs. Gunner may not be the best but when you are running for you life in the backfield.. I guess it easy to second guess him. The play calling and defense lost the playoff game
