Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

BREAKING: 4-star CB Jerry Outhouse Jr. commits to Georgia football
Welcome to "Sentell's Intel" where Jeff Sentell not only provides you the latest recruiting information, he takes you into the homes of these students and what makes them special to the Georgia program.

Yep and J Curtis committed to Georgia twice and will be playing at Vandy. Until they sign they are not committed. Already seen too many flip to get excited by a verbal. Go Dawgs and I hope he stays the path
I've said it many times and many of you have said it. We don't place a lot of stock in a 17 year old saying he has commtted to Georgia. Until he signs on the dotted line and shows up on campus ready to go to classes I don't get overly excited. I wonder how many of these 17 year olds have told their current girlfriend, "oh baby you're the one and only one and it will be us forever" Then the next month he's sporting a new girl.
I couldn’t agree more. Perhaps it’s time to get rid of that outdated meaningless word “committed”. I propose they change it to “pre-engaged”…
That means absolutely nothing nowadays.
Celebrate a guys commitment. That's good for the program and good for the young man. If it turns sideways, then have at it. No reason for the negativity. Understand the cynicism, but give it a rest.
Welcome to the Dawgs, Mr. Jerry. I hope it's a long and productive relationship for everyone!
this is the way
A QB turn CB….who loves Red & Black, runs a 4.4 forty, the young man from Ft Worth who WANTS to be a Dawg, a young man with a look and name that sez there's some native American somewhere in the family tree….I'm sensing a DGD Ball Hawk somewhere in the future…..
he mentioned he’s white, black, and Mexican
Kid oozes confidence! Go DAWGS! Gonna be a BEAST!
Hope it works out. Out of curiosity does anyone have a guess as to what percentage of commits actually sign with us?
I agree, better to have them commit to UGA than another school. I am sure if you ask Kirby he would say it's easier to keep a commitment than to flip one. No doubt any kid could change their mind, but celebrate a win, no matter how small.
I can appreciate the pro and con feelings about this/ I used to get more excited about it -now it’s tempered with “but”-that’s just the way of recruiting these days - still glad to hear, though. Go Dawgs
I’m sure the answer to that question is a moving target, loosely speaking I do know that UGa signed 31 recruits and had 10 others decommit…I would imagine the national average for upper tier programs is around 25 to 30 percent of total recruits, just a swag
wow 6 voted my comment down.. hey prove me wrong and I’ll delete the post. I’m a diehard dawg fan over 40 years but I have never seen a time like now. I remember listening to the radio to who signed for Georgia way before the internet and yes they signed but now a days when you still have a full year to go, it’s hard to get excited when you have seen so many flip before signing. So go ahead and vote this post down also but before you do, prove me wrong. Go Dawgs
