The message that the President and Athletic Director of UGA sent out to Dawgnation when they hired the same coach that Florida had been trying very hard to fire is that Georgia will continue to flop around like a fish out of water when it comes to basketball. Price can't recruit a team, so we waste big bucks buying one for a year of so. These mercenaries couldn't care less about the G or even an education. When Price stringed together a few wins in a row, they went crazy and gave him a significant pay raise. Now we're stuck with yet another middling coach for multiple years. I am officially calling it quits with UGA mens basketball, long term. Kudos to Floriida for throwing the anchor named Mike Price around our necks.
This is a wonderful time for UGA to fire Mike White. His comments are absolutely nauseating.
Next hard step? Fire that clown. Not only does the embarrassing, humiliating loss cloud the season, the pre-sec season clouds it just as much because of all the low level wins Georgia had to get to 22 wins. Yes, they went 10-8 in conference, so that equates to a .500 team which would not have been invited to the tournament. They clearly showed that they didn’t belong. IF, and that’s a huge IF, they ever make it back to the tournament, I won’t pick them to win in my bracket ever again. At least the Lady Dawgs showed up and played hard, even though they blew an 8 point lead late.

The first step for White would be to actually recruit high school players. As of now UGA does not have a single commitment , none, zero. Of course players go to schools to be coached UP, not to be coached DOWN.
If you appreciate team basketball, ball movement, and guys playing without the ball Georgia is brutal watch. Also, why do we play so many players? We had talent at the top of the roster but the rotations and going 11 deep in the tournament make absolute no sense. Florida knew.
So some of our guys may go to the portal. Can't we get some big time players from portal? Pull an "Indiana" in basketball? Seems this may be an avenue for UGA to quickly turn an entire history around quickly.
We can’t do it without the NIL money to do it. I’m truly starting to dislike college sports and I have never wanted to feel that way! But, here I am!
I watched several games during the regular season, and this loss against Saint Louis was the worst. Just simply an unmotivated and disjointed team. Sure, guys were missing shots everywhere, but the team wasn't properly prepared, and that's COACHING. Obviously, Mike may be a bit better than the predecessors, but he's not going to cut it long term if this kind of play continues.
Too many very good SEC programs continue to do much better in Bball than the Dawgs. No excuse for that.
Two years in a row where it's once-and-done for both the football and basketball programs in their respective playoffs.

I watched a lot of games this year and other than a few exceptions, the team effort was there. This game makes zero sense.
Recruiting for football is near impossible. For basketball, even worse. I wouldn't want his job.
Mike Price? Who is that? Evidently you gave up on Georgia basketball long ago, if you cant remember the name of the head coach. Mike Price is not the basketball coach at UGA, that would be Mike White. The headline of the article even has the head coaches name in it.. Mike White 🙄
For 4 MILLION dollars a year to provide a mediocre product you don’t want his job? B S…that’s funny right there. I would load up on 14 cupcakes a year, try to scratch out 20 wins, get pay raises and contract extensions in a Josh Brooks minute for 4M a year…wouldn’t want his job, that’s hilarious. It’s not like you have to get your team motivated to play in the playoffs or anything, all you have to do is try to get invited…Mike White has the greatest gig in the world.k
