We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I don't get these Contracts with Buyout Clauses that amount to rewarding a lousy coach, with a lottery windfall...for doing nothing more than failing their mission and getting fired.
These Universities are throwing our money around like Monopoly Dollars. The amount means nothing to em.…cause, it's Free Money.....to everybody concerned except the consumer and taxpayer.
A HC Contract, should by no means, be extended beyond 3 years. Smh...10 year Contracts with 70-80 Million Dillar buyouts....sounds more like theft and collusion between Universities, Lawyers & Agents. And, we're the Patsies.
What a waste. Absurd, asinine....irresponsible! This is one of the first things the WH Executive Order needs to address.
Why not make it a year to year deal...just like the player? It used to be a plus to have a Head Coach locked in for multiple years. It was a selling point on the recruiting trail.
Not No Mo'!!!!! We all know what sells, these days. And, it ain't Coaching. Lol
You can't keep recruits around, long enough to enjoy the value of a Great Coaching Staff. Cause...a Great Coaching Staff, coaches HARD. And, some of our soft youth, can't seem to take that, anyway. Lol
Btw....HC's like Kirby Smart are exempt...due to tenure & track record. Just sayin'.
I watched High Point give Arkansas all it could handle. High Point. A really small school. They give higher seeds fits in the tournament every year and are consistently a tough out. What do they have with the limited resources of a small school that SEC heavyweights don't? I wish we could have some of that. But they are a prime example of consistently doing more with less. Easy team to root for. Georgia looked like they were throwing the game. Can't say that didn't cross my mind.
I wonder if the High Point coach would be interested in the Mike White gig at UGa…they looked like a very well coached team in spite of the talent gap.
That's what you want....a Coach that can prepare his team to "hit up"...not, just take care of business when they're expected to.
Imo....Losing is hard....but, Winning is harder. And, the Basket-Dawgs, "can't stand prosperity"....Lol, as my Dear ol' Dad used to say about the Braves & Falcons. Lol.…almost everytime we watched em play. 'Course rhe Braves, at least came through, occasionally.
I don't care to see the Basket-Dawgs become just another ho-hum project...where, we're just "happy to be there", at the end of the season. In other words....like the Braves & Falcons.
it doesn’t matter who the coach is if the school isn’t going to devote more money to the operation.
I’ve heard the saying, “You get what you pay for.” And be it houses, autos, boats, tools etc, it is the truth. Things seldom work out when you go cheap. UGA’s Basketball budget is DEAD LAST in the SEC. Tennessee’s budget is nearly 3 times bigger than UGA’s. You get what you pay for…
