Pretty sure God is not telling people to break their promises or break a commitment. On the other hand, money might do that. Or, not believing a man’s word means anything can lead to all kinds of mischief. Bottom line: we live in a world where greed and selfishness are viewed as good things. It’s a mess.
or maybe he misheard God when God told him to commit to the dawgs. And he made a mistake. Life happens. I wish him well and move on.

@lucydog @JBMDawg46 Great comments Brothers among allot of great comments here !! reading @lucydog’s comment it was refreshing to see he quoted that scripture right where so many quote it wrong. People will say “ Money is the root of all evil” Wrong !! It’s “ the Love of money is the root of all evil”.
And I respected @JBMDawg45’s comments as well. And thought about the Prosperity Preaching going on in allot of ministries these days. God Never said we’d be wealthy on This earth. Though if obtained honestly and you don’t Love your money I don’t think God has a problem with it.
But HE said Seek Ye FIRST the Kingdom of Heaven and HE would meet your needs. HE Also said Lay your treasures up in HEAVEN ( Not here on earth) where they don’t rust, rot, and corrupt, and thieves don’t break in to steal. HE said for where you’re Treasure is there you’re heart will be also.
There’s nothing wrong with having money. It’s a tool that we use to live. There’s nothing wrong with having Allot of money if obtained Honestly and through being wise in your finances. It’s when you put you’re money Over GOD and over People in other words you worship you’re money Then there’s trouble !!
It’s nothing new as it’s been going on since antiquity humanity loving they’re money more than God and People. But it seems with every passing year we see more and more people who worship they’re finances above everything else. Our standing in society is judged by what we Have instead of the fabric of our character. Been going on for years and years but steadily escalating !! Now pass that hat around and out you’re money in it Lol !! 😂
Seriously though small wonder our youth ( not nearly all but to many) think that how much money they have is the measuring stick of what kind of person they are character wise. ALL of us Adults can help to mentor them to think differently. At least plant the seed in their minds. We can’t promise they’ll nurture that seed but we can do our part and try to plant it at every opportunity. God Bless & Protect each and every one of you and you’re families.
