dawg fans who are offended by this should chill out. If a kid doesn’t want to play in Athens, knows he’s not up to the challenge, in it mostly for money, then it’s a good thing he decommited. We don’t want him anyway. Who knows, maybe the coaching staff had second thoughts and encouraged him to do it 🤷‍♂️

BEST COMMENT OF THE DAY…couldn't have said it better BogartDawg….apparently The Dawgs didn't have the plumbing to match his stink!

A lot of these kids commit to UGA as a tool to get other schools to raise their bids. Until they sign, they aren't committed. And even then it is only til the portal opens back up.

Not offended. Just think parents should ensure their kids understand what the word commitment means and not to committ until you actually mean it. Obviously, we've had several in the last few years that didn't understand that their word is supposed to stand for what kind of person you are. We found out. $$$$$$$

Exactly why the recruiting services should change their term from Outhouse “committed” to the G…to Outhouse “pre-engaged” to the G 😂. The term “decommitted” should only be used for a player who saw their commitment thru and actually showed up on campus.

    It's not a thing , until it's a thing! It was just a flirtation!

    two things here:

    1. it’s hard to be angry with a dude with a power mullet like that.
    2. I believe “0” of these kids saying they are committed to the G until pen goes to paper.

on a side note…. After rewatching hung G day, I’m pretty happy with where we are sitting at the moment.

    3. go dawgs

All the comments here about not getting excited until they Sign are exactly right. Jeff Sentell has a pretty tough job !! He interviews players and their families and the guy might turn around and decommit for whatever reason. Allot of them though are for the Early paycheck. But in the end at least most of the time the guys that Want to be Dawgs turn out to be good. Go Dawgs !!

it’s not just recruiting, it’s everything. Because even after they sign they could leave. One of the joys of college football was watching guys you followed on signing day mature and turn into a star and then go to the league. That’s all gone now.

I agree with ChawlieDawg88, a ploy to use the system for bargaining purposes . Will be interesting to see how many offers and $$$ this will get Outhouse over the next year.
