Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I don’t even bother to read recruiting stories anymore. Interest or a commitment from a recruit is pretty much meaningless. I feel bad for you, Jeff, because your recruiting stories used to be a favorite.
thank you for finding the time to comment on it though
The usually thorough JS missed something in this article. I see no mention of the prospect's height nor weight. Based on the pictures I'm guessing less than 6'. Kid's got some speed.
It will be interesting to see if OSU is able to continue to recruit elite WR's with former WR coach Brian Hartline moving on. Hankton has big shoes to fill. Considering LSU's WR recruiting before and after Hankton was hired, OSU's recruiting fortunes may not be as blessed in the future.
Cool info, but UGA does not have the $$. Go for a 3 star uunknown we can develop over time.
I'm sure many feel lIke rt. Almost every recruit story reads the same. They just move on to the next visit and probably says similar things on other sites about that visit. It's hard to take some of it seriously. Jmo
source?
Hankton is not good as a recruiter. He will get to coast on ohios success with WRs and Day’s offense. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts.
been that way for 25 years. Only thing that’s changed is the bag games are out in the open now. I myself follow recruiting way less than I did in the early days of this website. Part of that is with the success, I trust the staff more. Another part is I don’t want to get emotionally attached to someone just to have them either flip or transfer when they don’t get an immediate shot.
I’ll just never understand commenting on an article how you are not interested in said article. Jmo
It's just something to talk about for some. I'm thinking guys like rt would enjoy other stories about current Dawgs. I know I would.
Look at the numbers. #1 or 2 in recruiting each year and this year at #6.
if Curtis doesn’t flip we still finish top 3. I think it’s an anomaly more than a trend. If we finish outside the top 5 again I might get in this train with you.
My point was recruiting articles used to be exciting to read about because it meant there was a genuine chance of the player signing with Georgia. Not the case anymore, so I don’t read in detail. Sad state of affairs for the college game.
i don’t think Jeff would write if there wasn’t a legit chance as of today. Not his style.
