One thing with ABS. I wonder if the day comes when they just say let ABS call all the balls and strikes.

One of the reasons they dont want to do that now is the players need to know immediately if the call is ball or strike. Decisions they have to make on the field could be based on that call.

May never happen but if someday they have a way of letting the players know the ABS call right away and then have ABS make the calls on every pitch. Maybe a red or green light that is obvious to everyone behind home plate. Something like that.

    Great! thanks!

I love these kind of numbers …. too many times (last year) we seemed out of it by Memorial Day but, usually they made a run of it as the season went on..

Nice to see them move ahead so early!!!

I might have kicked dirt on Strider's grave too soon. After his first start in the Rockies and not having that 100 mph fastball anymore my hot take was he might be done.

Pleasantly surprised to see him pitching well.

I'm a little concerned. He gave up 3 HR tonight. Don't think he is all the way back - yet. Bigger concern is they took Ronald out "as a precaution". He got a "sore" left thumb. Not sure how he got it. Fingers crossed there. Makes me worry if it will affect how he holds the bat.

Not often you see a game with exactly 1 scoring play in each of the 9 innings!

True that. I noticed another pattern as well. The Braves scored in consecutive innings 3 times, scoring 2 runs in the first of the two consecutive innings and one in the next inning. 2,1 0,0,2,1,0.2,1. Kinda weird.

Off the deck in extra innings! Chadwick Tromp the hero for this game with an RBI single in the 10th and a walkoff hit with two outs in the 11th, scoring White from second!

Somebody different steps up every night!

My favorite play was the safety squeeze in the seventh with Kim laying down a perfect bunt and Riley scoring from third (second safety squeeze of the year scoring Riley each time)!

Can’t make this up ….. 36-16! 20 games over .500! Whoda thunk it!?

Oh, and Elder pitched another quality game! Keep on keeping on!!

Love this team's bench. Some non-starter seems to deliver, game after game, Kudos to AA for "gathering them up" and to WW for getting the most out of them.
