    Twiggs County Sheriff's Office said deputies were doing high-visibility enforcement ahead of the “Click It or Ticket” campaign when they saw a Lamborghini traveling eastbound on I16 driven by Nolan Smith at about 136 mph in a 70 mph zone….ouch.

    I know your comment was meant to be a joke. But how soon we all forget the price paid by true heroes for the freedom we now enjoy yet so flippantly take for granted. Especially this weekend. I suggest you read With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa. A first hand account of war in the Pacific by a US Marine.

    The part that sticks in my mind , beside the horrors of war, was how the marines were dumped on these isolated islands low on everything. Got their drinking water provisions from 55 gallon drums previously used for oil. Complete with oil slicks and rusty metal fragments.
