What a tap dance . The neutral sites pay both teams more money and in return help that city’s economy . Sure would be nice to have those big games in Athens instead of a mid season bowl game . I would guess The DawgNation would rather go to the home campuses like we did Notre Dame . Jacksonville is bad enough . I’m not looking forward to a Charlotte game . Looks like Athens will have to make a bid to keep those games home lol . What a joke . Good luck keeping Sanford full in 5 years .
i think that was part of the reason they went to a 9 game schedule. That extra conference game will sell better than whatever paycheck game they put in its place.
But I agree these neutral site games are terrible. If the playoff committee didn’t ding teams for scheduling tough matchups, we wouldn’t be in this position.
"Kirby Smart doesn’t share the same strong opinion as the Georgia fan base does when it comes to nonconference scheduling." Conner…. The UGA fanbase doesn't have "A" strong opinion on this non conference scheduling as you report. There are multiple opinions depending on which fan you ask. Don't put words in our mouths! In Kirby….. many, many, many UGA fans trust!
ZZZZzzzzzz
Wrong answer Coach. Sounds like Kirby, supposedly understandably so, is supporting the administration line that it’s all about the $, which unfortunately it is. Yeah the contribution requirements as well as ticket $ have already been announced as going up next year but don’t worry about bringing a FSU or Clemson in for a home game , the fans don't seem to mind playing a directional school home game instead. They’ll just keep sending in their cash, until they don’t. Oh well, GO DAWGS.
Kirby doesn’t have to worry about the travel expenses either 😂. I know all you people love KS but he’s all for KS lately not the fan base.
