Yes, having Curtis in there will make the game interesting. Both teams will have had a few games under their belt, but obviously Gunner and the Dawgs should rule the day, especially at Home. Not a single pre-season poll has the Dores as a Top 25 team. I hope Jared has a successful career….just not a successful day in Athens.

Don’t forget what the Arkansas coach said about our players

Has Curtis already "won" the Starting job for the Commodores....or is all this, more speculation?

They aren't even going to pretend to have a quarterback competition? Lol. Yeah....that'll help him mature.

Good luck with scaring the Dawgs by waving his recruiting stars at em....before the game even starts. Lol...I wouldn't want to be Jered Curtis after the UGA Game.

Go get em Dawgs! Make the Commodores squeal like pigs. Lol

He lives in the media head. I’ve moved on. He did what was best for him, better he never came to UGA because he wasn’t going to sit and wait a turn … ie Justin Fields

why would he? He is more physically talented than anyone we currently have on roster save maybe Puglisi. The only thing he doesn’t have is the checks. Why can’t he have a serious opportunity to compete for the job here. Come up with a package for him.

This stuff seems simple to me. Or maybe he really did get wooed by Vandy and the chance to start immediately.

"Bowers was never the same player after that injury."…I think Bowers NFL career and his record setting pace might contradict this statement a bit. If you are referring to his final few games with UGA, what player with a significant injury does not have a fall off upon return, at least until they get back up to speed? A weirdly worded, and I would say inaccurate, statement on your part, Connor.

Curtis can do Tide laundry commercials. Show how well it gets grass and dirt stains off the back of his jersey.

Or...."Mister Clean"....cause, his jersey will never get to see the grass and dirt, while riding the bench.

Or...."Mister Coffee"...cause, he'll be keeping his Coaches and Fans, up at night....wondering which QB will show up on Saturday..

We shall see what kind of man he is. He's got a ways to go, before he can stand eye-to-eye & toe-to-toe with Gunner Stockton...Lol. And, Stockton ain't stopped growin'. So...there's that.

I'm not convinced Curtis can handle all the "attention, expectations and publicity", just yet. That has derailed a many a career over time. It'll either make him or break him...imo.

Look what it did to Manning and Raiola...and, yes...Fields. They will probable all recover in-time. But, their impatience, and the way they handled the hype & expectations....stunted their growth temporarily.…if not, permanently.

In other words...i like the way UGA and Kirby Smart build Brick Walls, not Paper Tigers. It's much more labor intensive....but, lasts.

Lol...UGA's "brick wall" can withstand the onslaught of a thousand Paper Tigers, when they are at 100%.. As in '17, '21 & '22....['26 & '27]....etc..
