Just curious, but is anyone running stats on how many verbal commitments de commit prior to signing day since the unregulated disaster also known as NIL?

In looking at his highlights, I loved the way he almost always sets his feet to throw even when he is scrambling/ avoiding pressure, either left or right!

Sometimes, when he can’t set his feet because of the pressure, he still displays a strong arm and quick release to get the ball off….a little bit of his brother there, but appears to be more accurate…. Same gunslinger mentality though!

This guy looks like a keeper!!

I wonder how this will effect the 5 star 2028 QB who is committed already?

at least he is use to throwing under pressure and can throw on the move and scramble while looking down field. Steps up in the pocket sometimes. Some of these high ranked high school QBS go 2 years or even 3 years without ever being hit in the pocket. Same with some of the running backs. Some of those holes you can drive a car thru and the whole highlight tape is a guy running In the open field. Nick Chubbs highlight tape I am not even sure if there’s one run where he didn’t have to break 1 or 2 tackles to get back to the LOS.

Good decision by Nussmeier. Development is key in taking it to the next level even though you might never start a game for the Dawgs. Dawgs up to #20 in the 2027 Recruiting rankings.

I'm still seeing our starting QB next year coming from the portal.

I know I'm thinking what most others are thinking: will he honor this commitment or just use it to up the offers. Really hope he's a man of his word and sticks with us. Go Dawgs!

This commitment should be more reliable than most because of his family situation. I’m sure he is getting guidance from his dad and isn’t chasing the highest dollar. Being the son of an NFL offensive coordinator is a big plus. I’m excited.
