There is zero proof to indicate your claims about the OL. You have a short memory of the play of last year's OL. There was a reason CMB ran so many short pass routes and wanted the ball out of GS's hands so fast. Last year's OL didn't play especially well. '25 UGA Was not a Joe Moore finalist even with 2 players drafted early by the NFL. The 2026 OL has even more to prove considering its lack of experience and continuity. Drawing your conclusion is wishful thinking bordering on delusion.

I am not worried. In the grand scheme of life, football is entertaining diversion. I expect '26 UGA To look a lot like '25 UGA.

There is definitely talent on the offense. Unproven (ie suspect) talent. It will all come down to whether the OL steps up and gives GS the time he needs to get comfortable throwing the ball down the field.

You couldn't be more wrong but let's let it play out. I am not the only one who thinks are OL is the best in the SEC and top 3 in the nation. It is a known strength from everyone who analyzes teams. 61% of returning snaps on the offensive line which is the most in the SEC. Additionally, and this is not to be dismissed a lot of that is youth that should be better (knows their assignments better, improved technique, better physical condition). So you do you, and I will do me and we can just agree to disagree.

This team is built to win in the trenches and will be great this year. Great is the floor. National champs is the ceiling.

you’re obviously very bullish on this team. Some are in wait and see mode. Earnest Greene has rarely been very healthy during his time here. He’s also had trouble playing LT. He’s more of a guard type. If he’s hurt who’s playing LT? How close is Bobo to actually being back? I’m not worried about Gaston and Glover.

I can’t speak to other SEC or national programs relative OL strength, but to pretend there aren’t questions is a little rose colored glasses

Gaston is playing left tackle if Greene is hurt. Gaston is an NFL left tackle imo. Jah slides in at RT and Zeke The Freak at Right Guard/or Calhoun. We also have an improved Uini and Graham.

We have 2 options at backup center and both are improved over last year imo. Cortez Smith looks to be the front runner and Malachi Toliver who performed admirably against Bama and Ole Miss.

Probably the deepest OL we have ever had with both talent and youth.

Nothing in life is guaranteed but typically you get a big jump from year 1 to 2 and year 2 to 3. Most of this is related to better footwork and handwork along with knowing their assignments better (taking better angles). Increased strength as well, but mostly footwork and handwork which is on another level in college from high school.

I have watched and listened to about 40 different people discuss the Dawgs if that counts. So if almost all of those people are high on the team and the offensive line this year then to me that is an analytic that says OL should be elite - 90 percent likely. From CJD to Phil Steel to the SEC guys to the Film Guy, and on and on. Personally, I played for a long time and obviously am an addict with this stuff. That's all I got for you.

obviously I will trust Coach Donnan’s opinion as he’s in the building and close to Kirby.

Brooks Austin I’m a little dubious on as he tends to favor UGA to make sure he doesn’t get frozen out by the machine.

Phil Steele is a national guy if I’m not mistaken so have to take his info with a grain of salt.

I’m not saying the OL can’t be a strong point of the team, but I need to see it.

Fair enough and I respect that. Things can happen which is why no one guarantees anything but this is about as close to a guarantee you can have. Why do I say that? Normally you only have 5 or 6 guys on the OL that can play winning football if you are above average. We have closer to double that. The fact that we can trot out 3 centers and still function is pretty amazing. I do think that if Earnest Greene gets injured we will see Gaston out there at LT. Gaston and Glover are both potentially AAs this year and Bobo is a pre-season AA. Calhoun is extremely solid so the fact that Zeke is beating him out is really a great problem to have. Also, Jah is a perfect RT. Uini is a solid backup and their has been a lot of chatter on Graham as well. We could have 3 AAs next year on the line.

I have a family friend who played in the pros a long time ago and I remember him discussing all the hand work and footwork they would do with the big guys. He played as an OT in the pros for 4 years. Anyways, it is a big deal and one of the things that really changes from HS to College for offensive linemen. So that is what I am basing this on as well as what I'm hearing from all the videos and shows I watch.

Still don’t understand all the hype for arch manning. Georgia and several other teams made him look average last season.
Defense will need to win some games this season if the receivers don’t step up.

Wow allot of negativity going on ! I don’t really believe in luck or mojo very much. But if those are true then all the negativity is Great ! Because there was very similar negativity before we won the first Natty with Stetson.

Even then Some said that was just a fluke, No Way we win another with Stets under center. But we all know how it went. I think there’s allot of underestimating this team on Both sides of the ball. No I don’t have a bunch of stats to throw out there. But numerous times from previous seasons Win or Lose the stats don’t always project the new season.

One thing I’m confident of is the motivation. These Dawgs want to rinse that bad taste out and spit it on the field with a winning season. In Stockton’s first year as the true starter ( though he was never officially named) he helped lead the Dawgs to an SEC title and at least got to the playoffs.

I Believe he will be better. I also think he’s a very good QB on the cusp of being great. The weapons in particular TEs will be there for him. Now CMB needs to properly utilize those weapons and combined with what I believe will be a very good to great defense the Dawgs will be heavily in the chase for a Natty. No stats from me just Faith.
