I’m starting to smell football in the air and feeling more optimistic than I felt the past few years. If our OL finally jells then we could have a great season. Go Dawgs!!!
Amen to that Brother ! Getting closer and closer to football season ! No one knows for a fact what Gunner will do good or bad.
But one thing is an absolute and that is no one will give any more effort than Gunner. He’s gonna give his all for the team first, then everyone else, then lastly himself. He’s a fine young man Off the field of play as well. I’m proud of and for him and so glad he’s a Dawg !
Maybe Canion is the diamond in the rough ! Gunner Will have targets to throw to among the TEs, WRs and RBs I’m believing they will show up Big !! Go Dawgs !!

Is it just me?....or does the 2026 season feel like "Deja vu all over again", wrt the 2021 season?
In the summer of '21....We were getting whiffs of a "Brock Bowers type" being "special"....and, returning top grade Seniors on defense...and, offense (Leadership). There was talk of a "UGA revenge tour" and "Bama Re-peat" in '21.
They shrug over the Dawgs with an arrogant smirk, and look for any reason to hype an obviously inferior team. The media still anchors their SEC Ship in an Alabama bay. Lol....they're a lost cause. Both Bama...and, "The News Media", that is.
One year...they might actually be right...and, when they "tell the story"....that's the only year you'll hear about. Lol...the rest will be buried.
IMO....This time around....the Dawgs are gonna come packing' an experienced quarterback with no doubts. Not to mention a RB Room that seems to be a notch above the '21 group. Although....I don't know if Bobo's gonna have a "James Cook type", yet. But, I have a suspect or two.
Go get em G. So many reasons to be optimistic. I don't remember going into a season this confident in the Dawgs overall position. Now....if they can avoid the Injury Gremlin.
Georgia was picked to win the sec by the media so the “no one believes in Georgia” narrative falls apart pretty quick.
Do you see today's headlines, there Champ? Where does it look like "the National Media" stands wrt UGA, Kirby Smart and the SEC...to you? They aren't exactly doin' the ol' "Crimson Drool" or "Longhorn Lick" or "Saban Shuffle", over the UGA Bulldogs or Kirby Smart....imo.
Instead of Kirby having to calm down the "Rat Poison dealing media".…the way Saban had to....i think he puts em to sleep. Lol...maybe by design. Who knows. It's probably a "good thing"....but, I can't help but feel like it costs the UGA brand in recruiting.
Moreover....the extra hype poured over Texas, Bama, OSU, ND and a few others....HELPS their recruiting. And, it isn't earned anymore...it's given freely. Why....and, is it fair in today's market?? That's all I ask?
The Dawgs get a "Lukewarm Welcome" from the "National Media" (ESPN)....as they have, almost every season in my memory. Nothing changed….YET! But, it will.

Have you ever watched espn in the last 15 years? Or do you just complain and whine about it? They have always (and will always) focus on the teams that garner national attention: Yankees, Cowboys, lakers, tide, and Ohio. Dems da “breaks!” As “they” might “say.” Lolol.
Alabama won at a historic clip the last 20 years and Ohio has one of the largest and widest alumni bases. Until Georgia does that, they will likely not get the “love” you so “desire” for “them.”

OSU!....Just "won" it's first title in 20+ years. Thanks to a constant barrage of hype from the Corporate Media base. Why?....They have an interest in that small group of schools...only the IRS knows. Lol....or Offshore bank account managers.

I stopped watching' ESPN a long time ago..…However....I have visited their CFB Website to monitor "Headlines" and story content. The Bias is real and it's there....what're ya gonna do. I try to educate wherever I can. You can take it or leave it....but, it's not a theory...it's a Theorem. Lol
I’m not sure reading comprehension is your strongest attribute. Also Ohio has won a title once each decade this century and played for multiple others. I’m a huge Georgia fan but they’ve been in the mix more than we have the last 25 years. That’s just objective fact. But if you wanna keep chugging haterade don’t let me stop you

Fyi...I ain't say in' OSU doesn't have a top tier program. I am sayin'...they ain't no better than UGA. I used to ache, to watch UGA play the hyped up Acorns...since I can remember. There were years that the Dawgs could've mopped the field with the "higher ranked" Buckeyes.
But....the hype always wins out....when it comes to "ranking systems". Human...or computer. Afterall,...who programs the computers? Lol.
It reminds me of some digging I did on this vaunted Minnesota Three-peat of the mid thirties, discussed a few years back. Lol....the Natty was determined by a formula...The Dickenson System created by a professor at University of Illinois in the '20's.
It was crooked and eventually abandoned for a less crooked system also run by humans. That was when the "University of Chicago" was a player in the Big10. Illinois had a stake in the hype created around Big10 Teams that carried over for decades...imo.
Also imo.…OSU and Michigan were beneficiaries of those early days…and, they're still subsisting on it. It's the only reason OSU & Michigan (and Notre Dame) were able to bring in the talent they brought in every year...expectations....brought on by reputation....created through hype. It's like "wiping' your butt with a wagon wheel, once it begins.....it never ends". Lol
Lol....why not just let everybody fight it out on the field, the way they do in every level, of every sport...except Dancing, Ballet, Gymnastics and Ice Skating (etal.). And, they've got perception issues of their own. Lol. I think we all know why.

Btw...I did forget, about the '14 Urban Meyer Hype Natty. That Natty was gonna happen, as soon as Meyer took the job. Unfortunately...Hype didn't work in Jacksonville like it did in Gainesville or Columbus. Pros play a different game. Lol
However....32 years passed between the '70 and '02 Natty. Yet...OSU seemed like they owned a stake in the polling game. Cause, it seemed like they were always in the conversation....for one cooked up reason n or another.
