With three WRs who have a lot of game-day experience, and five TEs who make up the best TE room in the country (two of which will play a lot of snaps from the slot), I'm just not feeling the anxiety that many have expressed here in articles and in the comments. I hope that we will all be pleasantly surprised by the production that we get from the passing game and it causes GS's confidence to soar! Once those young WRs experience some success, they too can build some confidence and become next-level producers for this team. Confidence is better than magic!

Keep in mind that these young receivers are also getting their first college experience (in practices) against what might arguably be the best/hardest coverage they face their entire college career. Talk about trial by fire. Like you, I'm choosing to be optimistic they'll come around, and the unit as a whole will be plenty good enough. Go Dawgs!

I typed my last comment before seeing that Nick Chubb was mentioned in this article. It is clear from his comments above that he should be included in the names in my previous post.

Admittedly, I have not seen a single rep since the G-Day game, but it’s puzzling why Montgomery isn’t the winner in the backup QB battle. Everything I’ve read, heard, or seen indicates he’s the best of the potential backups. Surely experience alone isn’t the answer.
I’m trusting in Coach Bobo to make a great blend of WRs and TEs in the pass attack. The TEs will cover for the young WRs giving them time to grow. As well as the veteran WRs that were mentioned. As has been said by many going up against the Dawgs defense every day is Good work !! Go Dawgs !!

I agree, particularly with Puglisi continuing to have accuracy and interception issues as he begins his 2nd season.
Pugs is a real letdown the Dawgs need to accept that and move on from him being next up. He has not become what we had hoped, think the next Brock V without the fifth star
Thank goodness for our amazing TE's! Turn them loose and then when (and if) they ever wake up, we will be super fine.
Nick Chubb was a great back. I hope in his next season of life that he's able to give back to his community with his time and talents.
Better not let Kirby read your post on the receiving room being losers. He went off on a reporter at media day for just asking a question about the receivers😅
