Georgia has another challenging schedule with nine league games, of which, four jump out as potential upset losses for the Bulldogs

Oklahoma - I think Sanford stadium crowd will play a huge part in the Dawgs winning by ten to 14 points.
Alabama - This game makes me nervous due to the fact Alabama seems to have questionable calls go their way, especially when playing at home. Have to play as close to error free as possible.
Florida - The Gators are going to throw everything they have at us but the Gators are probably still a year or two away getting completely comfortable to a new system and a first time starting QB in Philo. It should probably be a very close, tough game with Dawgs on top.
Ole Miss- This one makes me the most nervous simply because of the athleticism of Chambliss. Our secondary is going to have to lock down their receivers and we are going to have to get some pressure on Chambliss with some sacks thrown in. We can’t let him run around in the backfield and have all day to throw. He can pick any team apart if given too much time.
Go Dawgs!
@BornADawg Good assessment
Thanks Mike!
Those 4 all scare me. Who scares me the most today? Florida. The hatred both schools have for the other is a huge factor imo. Plus, don’t sleep on Auburn with a new coach and a belief they got shafted by the officials last year.
Lolol....Right?!!!....every Super Hero needs a villain...and, Florida has long been a then in UGA's side. And, vice-versa.
That being said....imo....Alabama has made a helluva push to take their place. Especially, with Kirby's Coaching resume and his history with Saban & Bama.
The question IS.....Can Deboer measure-up?. Does he have what it takes to become a stone in Kirby's shoe and a thorn in UGA's side?
Maybe. But, only if they play every game in Tuscaloosa with Bama's preferred refs. Lol
I think Kirby finally gets his wins at Bama and Old MIssy, I also think the game with the Sooners between the hedges is going to be a rock fight. If UGA is going 11-1 like Mike predicts, I think OU could be the loss early. I am NOT predicting a loss. Nobody is going to know much about the Dawgs until after that game. Arky poses no threat.
You and I are basically, on the same page.
Fyi....Ga Tech "could be" a real problem for the Dawgs...again this year. They've been an overlooked "Rival" for decades, mainly cause they didn't play defense. That changed with the "Kirby-linked" Coachin Staff....imo.
I love Tech''s offensive firepower and scheme. If they can put a competitive defense on the field in '26....look out. They'll be Playoff bound as well..
If Ga Tech is gonna start playin' football again....UGA might consider dropping em from the schedule. Cause, they're gonna have to play em again in Dec-Jan anyway. Sooner or later. Lol
you know they lost their offensive coordinator right?
I actually wan't aware of that. But, it wouldn't have changed my opinion. My confidence rests in Brent Key. Same with Kirby.
Imo....the OC change was actually an upgrade. Yeah...I checked it out. Lol
The new Coordinator and Brent Key both spent significant time working together under George O'leary. Similar to Smart & Bobo....they know and trust one another.
With the addition of Mendoza, the return of Haynes & the new OC....they should be "better" than last year. But, i guess we'll see how it shakes out. Ya neva' know. Lol
wow…you never fail to amaze me with each post. It truly is amazing and only @UGADad20 will understand
That's enough of the applause. Lol....stay tuned and I'll throw ya a few more pearls throughout the season. Not that you or UGAdad20 would recognize em, when you hear em. I'll let you know when to start taking notes.
We'll revisit this conversation in November. Lol
