I laughed when I saw this one. Again. In spite of myself.

Still waiting for the classic "Tombstone" cover to happen.

All the DawgNation guys so far seem to have some kind of roots around the Georgia program. Like dye in the wool Georgia guys. I think Chip even went to school at Georgia.

Kind of don’t like that this guy floats around to wherever seems the most fun at the time. But then you consider that DawgNation already has the dyed-in-the-wool angle covered with the other guys, seems like a good move bringing in somebody that will take a different angle.

I’m kind of hoping to hear some of his takes comparing Georgia under Kirby to other schools he’s been at where they’ve made championship runs.

And really it seems unfair to try to limit these guys to just covering one school. Even though it’s the most comfortable for the fan, it really limits their ability to make a living to tell them you can only cover one school for most of your career.

Yes I agree. I'm being cautiously optimistic about his future articles, but at least he seemed very enthused to be covering the dawgs now. A little bit of diversity should bring a different thought process to the table. Hopefully from him covering other schools in the past, he'll pick up on the traditions and diversity that UGA offers and take a liking to it. There was one segment of him speaking on the podcast Monday with BA that made me raise an eyebrow. It was when he started citing the previous teams he'd joined and their immediate success on the field. Coincidence? Most likely. But who knows. Maybe he'll be our lucky rabbit's foot to get over the hump.

    Anyways, welcome aboard sir. B)
