Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Notre Dame
Fellas, I really hope you are right and we blow ND out, but let's not forget our tendency to be too optimistic at times. Most of us are optimistic and we are fired up about the '19 Dawgs and we feed each other. However, last year we were brimming with optimism before Texas (I speak from experience)--they couldn't hold up… -
Re: 10 offseason Georgia football questions, crystal ball and 'Magic 8-ball' answers
11) Will we actually make it to a college football season? Not trying to be Debbie-downer, but this is my biggest question and should be everybody's biggest concern. The rest of these questions aren't remotely important right now. Folks, we've barely even started this whole process of re-introducing student-athletes to… -
Re: What Jamon Dumas-Johnson transfer says about the future of the inside linebacker room
That is a lot of assumptions and some flat out BS. "A second faster" on a football field is the difference between Stackhouse and Usain Bolt in the 40. If CJ or Wilson is "1 second faster" then I am still waiting to see them remove their Clark Kent glasses. 33 and 5 did not flash as freshman like JDJ did. They seemed much… -
Re: 3 takeaways from Georgia’s 49-21 win over UAB: Feeding the monster
"Feed the monster" is easy to say until BB's gets hurt being overused in a meaningless, early season, non-conference game. Bower's was clearly not 100% early in the season. But he gutted through it because UGA was already down 2 TE's. He seems to have turned the corner and more resembles the player of the last 2 seasons.… -
Re: Georgia defense, run game come up big in 16-6 win at Kentucky
This was a poorly coached game on one side of the ball and that decision to go for it on 4th down instead of kicking a FG to go up 19-0, which is three scores for you non-good at math types, was the most ridiculously st!up!d decision I’ve seen Coach Smart make since he called a fake punt with Justin Fields against Alabama… -
Re: Mike Bobo rehashes what wrong against Alabama, what the future looks like for him and Carson Beck
Sort of a combination of a lot of things. a penalty on a FG. A bad no review of an incomplete pass that greatly swung the momentum in favor of BAMA(of course). Missed assignments. THe second drive we get buried at the 13, #6 missed a block that would have sprung BB for a good gain. THe 2nd play of that drive CB doesn't… -
My after season mock draft for The Hawks
Assuming they stay at 5th and 7th I'd take Jarrett Culver at 5 and Texas center Jaxson Hayes at 7. Culver will contribute right away. He'll fit in nicely on offense and he's solid defensively. Hayes won't turn 19 till next month. He is already 6'11'' 220lb with a 7'3'' wingspan. he runs like a deer and his defensive upside… -
Re: Georgia football historically big betting favorite over TCU in CFP Championship Game
Fun Facts from the Michigan-TCU game: -TCU’s defense notched 13 tackles for loss to Michigan’s three. -Talk about physicality - The Horned Frogs ran 41 times for 263 yards on Michigan’s top-5 rushing defense — even after losing starter Kendre Miller to injury after just eight attempts. Emari Demarcado stepped up to run for… -
Re: How Georgia football is going to replace its 14 NFL combine participants
@Conner Riley I'm gonna poke this bear one more time. Everyone seems to want to ignore the obvious and I don't know why. The question has been posed to Mike Griffith a couple of times and his best response has been..."his Daddy said so", which is inadequate. The question is as follows: If Stetson Bennett is, in fact, 24… -
Re: Georgia football ‘secret sauce’ revealed at NFL Combine, exactly what it appeared to be
The difference in the 2 games with BAMA was the defense showed up in the NC game. 24 offensive points and 28 points(extra point was missed I beleve) respectively isn't "lack luster" against BAMA. Was, it dominant? No! At least not in the 1st game, where we would have needed 42 points to win that one. Were we dominant on…
