Re: Georgia offense flips the script in 34-10 win over Auburn
Winning by a 24 pt spread is pretty good on the Plains. Rowdy crowd and poor Bo NIx sacked 4 times for a`-46 yds. And only 46 total Auburn rushing yards. They did score on UGA. That is something. Ladd M...what a day! Defense a tad sluggish at times....but easily up to the task. Bennett...what can I say...he pulled out… -
Re: Reports: Georgia quarterback JT Daniels might have an upper-body injury
OMG…..I wish some of you guys would quit calling UAB a “cupcake”. Does anyone remember the 2016 season when we were smacked around all afternoon and had to make a critical 1st down to beat Nicholls State 26-24. Several weeks later we lost at home to Vandy 17-16. UAB is much better than either of those opponents. Be careful… -
Re: How return to visits has impacted Georgia defensive line recruiting
Yeah, the 2022 rankings mean very little at this point. To put this into perspective, Bama is #12 and Clemson is #38 while Rutgers is 5th. Mississippi State is 8th but they have FOURTEEN 3-stars. Yeah, not really threatened there. According to 247, we are the leaders for #24, #34 and #45. We are also in the running for… -
Re: What the future of the Georgia football-Clemson rivalry will look like
Another thing is, I think people are expecting a shootout Sept 4th in Charlotte but I don't see it that way. These r two of the top 5 Defenses in all of CFB and while I do believe that both teams will move the ball crisply and smartly in between the 20s, I expect the going to really get rough in the Redzone and the team… -
Re: The Georgia football players with the most to gain in Peach Bowl
"The Cincinnati Bearcats rank first in that mark. Luke Fickell’s defense gives up 4.32 yards per play, better than the likes of Clemson, Georgia and Alabama." Haha, uh huh. Cincy hasn't given up less than 7 points all season and finished the year giving up 33 points to UCF and 24 points to Tulsa (both 3 point wins). All… -
Re: Georgia football opens as slight road favorite over rested Auburn
Auburn has failed against the only two decent teams they have played (one very good) and wasn’t very impressive against Mississippi last week. I believe if we score 21-24 points in this game, our defense can shut down their run game, take their home crowd out of it and force them into being a one dimensional passing team… -
Re: How does Burrows to LSU affect our feelings towards that game?
Is it just me or does this sound a lot like last year when Zaire went to UF? I remember BA saying how he was good for a TD more per game. Or maybe it was a couple of wins. With their OL & RB problems, I don't see them being able to score enough to match our offense. Also think Kirby & Mel will have something special for… -
Re: NBA formally proposes changing draft eligibility from 19 to 18 years of age
I feel that the minimum age should be 20 or 21, with or without college. Most guys aren't mature until they are 24-25. (I'm not talking about working full-time. Maturity is another thing.) The pros, especially basketball, involves a lot of traveling. Easy to lose one's bearings. And college is a good thing. Should not be… -
Re: Top 5 dream home and home opponents
Here's my custom dream schedule for an epic UGA national title run. Week 1: at South Carolina (white jerseys) W 18-16 (missed "doink" field goal by South Carolina kicker to end game) Week 2: vs Oklahoma (red jerseys) W 24-20 (Capitalizes off an 80 yard pick 6 and a blocked punt for TD) Week 3: vs Kennesaw State (red… -
Re: Georgia opens game week as favorite over Alabama in SEC Championship Game
AL scores 15 pts? That's dreaming. GT scored 23. And could've scored more. (Missed FG) Might not be wise to blitz Milroe too much. Maybe on occasion with something unexpected. You want to try and make AL beat you by making Milroe beat you with his arm. Keep him in the pocket and hope his accuracy is off or the UGA DB's can…
