Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: How return to visits has impacted Georgia defensive line recruiting
Yeah, the 2022 rankings mean very little at this point. To put this into perspective, Bama is #12 and Clemson is #38 while Rutgers is 5th. Mississippi State is 8th but they have FOURTEEN 3-stars. Yeah, not really threatened there. According to 247, we are the leaders for #24, #34 and #45. We are also in the running for… -
Re: Georgia football-Vanderbilt game time, TV network announced for Week 14 game
Not shocked Mason was fired! Putting a girl in to kick? Losing 41 to 0 to Mizzou. O wins on the season...so far. Caveat: Mizzou is the real deal. Rountree is a phenomenal RB! One of best I have seen. UGA better be prepared for that game. JT will be used in that one to sling hard and long. You will not likely win that one… -
Re: Shocking upsets have cut both ways for the Dawgs
The 1976 game against the Gators, I had lost faith in the Dawgs at half time coming back from 14 points down. So, I went back into the woods that afternoon to bag a deer for the cooler. When I got back out of the woods I learned it was the Dawgs that ran wild the second half to win 41-27. I didn't have a VCR to tape the… -
Re: Ga highschool football
Heading to the 1A semifinal between Holy Innocents and Eagle's Landing Christian Academy tonight (Friday). HIES won the regular season matchup 42-41 in OT. I suspect it's gonna be tough to beat ELCA a second time. Rooting for Woodward Academy and @BiggDawgg63's Oconee County Warriors in 4A, Cedar Grove in 3A, and… -
Re: ESPN makes playoff predictions for 2023 college football season
"You are right. Having Georgia picked to be in the playoffs makes me very unhappy. I'd rather be the underdog. On the other hand, I'm also unhappy there are so many idiôts in the world. Not all of them work for ESPN. Bless their hearts!" - Jim Wallace @JimWallace ok, so why would you want the dawgs to be underdog status?… -
Re: Missouri opens its so-called ‘November to Remember’ as underdog at Georgia
Mizzou has played a tougher schedule than the Dawgs thus far in the season. Their one loss to LSU was by 10 points and both teams played pretty evenly with over 500 yards of offense on each side. Mizzou did beat Kansas State earlier this year by a field goal, and Kansas State just blew out Houston yesterday 41-0....a… -
Re: Gimme 5: What Georgia football will do at star with Javon Bullard possibly unavailable
The game with Missouri should be nothing more than a tune up as the Dawgs look to play smarter this week. Hopefully, the injuries mentioned above will not be long term, hoping all the players are back and able to compete very soon. Certainly, if Georgia wants to keep the #1 spot on the AP and Coaches Polls, they will need… -
Re: Alabama QB Bryce Young takes blame for 33-18 loss to Georgia, ‘that’s on me’
I'm probably not as versed on the specifics of some of the calls by the officials last night but that won't stop me from commenting. It seemed like the Tide got the benefit of the doubt on several key plays. The early Bryce Young fumble/incompletion as well as Bennet's fumble/incompletion. The intentional grounding call… -
Re: Having fun: Disney World...
There's two more (2013, 2016) not pictured. In my first 41 years I had never been to Disney World. In 2013 my wife told me her parents wanted to take the grandkids to Disney. I was more interested in staying at home alone to get some work done but she begged me to go with her. I figured, "What the heck, I've heard the food…
