Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Everyone made the same Kirby Smart joke after explosive Nick Saban-Jimbo Fisher comments
Dick Saban feels threatened by this NIL money. Yet, he was happy to brag about his QB Bryce Young signing a million dollar deal before the season started last year. Thanks to the NIL, most teams he’ll face will now be on a level playing field as Bama. Lets see just how great of a coach he is after all this. He knows wins… -
Re: Alabama star among former Georgia players scattered around college ranks
People are never "100 percent" committed to anything. There is ALWAYS an offer or a position or something somewhere that, given the right set of circumstances, , they would leave. That's true even for Kirby Smart. And while I'm not angry at Burton or Marshall, unless it was purely about getting more NIL dollars, I just… -
Re: The Hawks probably made a mistake in not taking Luca Doncic...
In his 2nd season James Hardin averaged .436%, 2.1 assist and 12.2 ppg Chris Paul was ultra successful, he averaged .437% 8.9 assists and 17.3 ppg as a 23 year old 2nd season player. Everybody wants their PGs to be Magic Johnson, but most HOF PGs developed a bit slower, John Stockton averaged 7.4 assists and 7.7 ppg at 24… -
Re: Georgia football winners and losers following Week 2 win over Ball State
Winner: Dawg's defense Kinda loser: Dawg's offense. 386 yards of offense isn't great, but it will do. What concerns me more is a 50% 3rd down efficiency rate (6/12). That stinks against any calibre team. Not sure what to make of this Dawg's team yet. Time will tell, but we appear further behind than I anticipated. Injuries… -
Re: Georgia football-Kent State instant observations as Bulldogs play with their food in sloppy effort
@SOARDAWG You just know talking heads and a ton of ignorant people will cue the "Georgia's overrated" hype after this game, instead of Kent State actually having a pretty good team Washington 45 Kent State 20. Oklahoma 33 Kent State 3 And in 2021 Kent State was 7-7. So where is this evidence of Kent State actually having a… -
Re: Georgia favored over Georgia Tech, but line suggests Yellow Jackets closing gap
Everybody's jumping all over Mike for noting the line is closer. C'mon, y'all. Mellow out! He's just trying to find an angle on one of the zillion stories he's expected to crank out every week. Besides, the line is closer. Maybe not hugely, but the difference between 33 and 24 probably reflects Georgia Tech's improvement… -
Re: LSU coach Brian Kelly points out ‘divide is not huge’ between Tigers and No. 1 Georgia
Kelly is a little off on the math. If they had done better on the FG situation then it’s 43 for us and 33 for LSU. I mentioned to a friend during the game that the blocked field goal was actually a 10 point swing. If we don’t block the attempt then LSU scores 3 points, but we did block it and we scored 7 points. Bottom… -
Re: Georgia Tech’s Brent Key understands physicality needed to compete with Georgia
Pretty good article, Mike. Right now, they still do not have the physicality to beat the Big Dawgs. This, however is Key's key (pun certainly intended...lol) to beating the rival Dawgs. I do like Key as a coach and expect him to be promoted to the role permanently. He has won some respectable games...NC for certain and… -
Re: Georgia football announces uniform changes as block numbers return
Count me on the side of traditional when it comes to uniforms. Really like the block numbers. Didn't really care for the non-block numbers that UGA wore but they weren't that bad. Not las bad as what the Steelers wear. Vikings also use different numbers for 1st and 2nd digits. Example: #33 would have 2 different style 3's.… -
Re: Georgia responds to lawsuit filed by former football staffer involved in tragic crash
GREED + Poor Judgement. = Windfall for the Tory Bowles family and Attorney. With a "Lawyer" pushing em to the finish line. It's like a Lawyer explained to me once...attorneys that depend on lawsuits like this for a living, run their Practice like a business...because it IS "just business". It's not personal. They're going…
