Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Dawgs fans wonder: What if we end up facing a fall without football?
Great article Bill and it conjures up so many thoughts and possibilities. Some folks have discussed a schedule with a few additional SEC games, but there is a possibility (assuming a very shortened season) of only playing teams in our division with the winners of the East and West playing in the CG without playing any… -
Re: Braves Ongoing Season Comments Thread..
Tonight's win seems important. It stopped a 3 game losing streak and kept Washington from pulling within 4.5 games of tying us for the division lead. It was effectively a 2 game swing. On the down side after finally looking like a closer in his last appearance Luke Jackson looked bad in giving up 2 runs and blowing his 7th… -
Re: Where's Kirby
I don’t think I’m being clear... @texdawg said he pays $300 per test for his employees. So we are testing 85 scholarship players. Another 20 walk ons. 11 coaches. 10 off field support staff (estimate). 10 on field support staff. 136 tests three times a week. Let’s say 130 to keep it even. That’s $40,800 each time everyone… -
Re: My demands for DRob
Levander wants only the minimum necessary depth at a position. Where do you want to distribute the 85 roster spots, then? Because if we didn’t recruit Fields (which was just so unfair to Fromm) then we would have ended up with another guy in another position group. What about those starters? Are they as emotionally… -
Re: Former 5-star defensive back Jaheim Singletary to enter transfer portal
None of us knows what is happening behind the scenes. I don't know about this kid, but there are probably some kids who are actually "urged" to do so by the coaching staff. Just think about it, if EVERYONE stayed who could stay, plus the incoming freshmen, UGA would be way over the 85-player scholarship limit. So, some… -
Re: Braves....
I think you are onto something with AA tired of waiting, and most importantly not wanting to be left at the altar without Freddie and Olson potentially traded to another team. I also think you are underestimating the value of $5 million/year extra the Braves are saving. $5 million to spend elsewhere is quite valuable,… -
Re: Georgia needs more points, Kirby Smart hints at offensive changes
Having a "Balanced" attack IS important, but to me that just means being able to run the ball and pass the ball effectively - equally so. Basically, if the defense doesn't respect one side of your game then they will load up to that side and make you prove yourself. You MUST have a good running game to open up the passing… -
Re: Heisman Trophy favorites: Carson Beck atop list with SEC quarterback rivals
He didn't out-quarterback Beck. He out rushed him. Are you forgetting the physical state of UGA's offensive line in the SECCG? Injuries effected both sides of the ball. Bowers and McConkey were operating at about 80-85%...which effected perimeter blocking, at a minimum. With all of the injuries and reduced capabilities on… -
Re: How Nick Saban’s retirement impacts the Georgia football program
Very surprising development. Though, from the outside, Saban has looked like he was tiring of the whole circus that is CFB. On one hand glad to see him go. He has been a major roadblock to UGA. On the other hand, wanted another shot at beating him in '24. Did not relish the thought of having to beat Saban 3 times in '24.… -
Re: Report: Georgia reserve DL Tymon Mitchell places name into the transfer portal
Best of luck to Tymon. But of course this level of transfer and from this position is exactly what the Dawgs need to get the roster number below 85. He's a promising lineman but wasn't even on the depth chart. Are we expecting to see some O-line transfers also? I posit that because there are three, four or more promising…
