Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: “Are you ready for some [Braves] baseball!?”
Tough series with the Cardinals so far. 6-1 after four innings in game 1 and 6-0 after three innings last night. We're scoring runs. 12 runs in the last two games. 21 hits. Trouble is:the Cardinals have 21 runs and 26 hits in those two games. Hard to come back when you dig such a big hole early in games. Let's hope we can… -

I've seen this movie before. We bring in McHugh to get the final out in an inning. In a tight game. And he can't throw strikes. Some… -
Re: “Are you ready for some [Braves] baseball!?”
@Bdw3184 Yeah. I didn't see the game but it looked like Fried had several hitters fooled with the way his pitches dropped out of the strike zone. And what an arsenal of pitches: fast ball, change-up, sinker, slider, curve and sweeper. Did I miss any? Not up to speed with our pitching staff. Who's hurt, who's been hurt. But… -
Re: “Are you ready for some [Braves] baseball!?”
Baseball is a funny sport and the playoffs are almost geared to the wild card teams. The team that wins the first series has all the momentum while the best teams sit and watch for a week. There’s got to be a better reward for baseball playoffs than sitting for a week. The best offense in some time with no holes in the…
