Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Nick Saban: Alabama fed off ‘yummy’ rat poison, ‘changed the picture’ on Georgia QB in 41-24 win
All good points Mike. Really embarrassing loss for the Dawgs...add Bama lost their #2 receiver Metchie for the entire 2nd half AND 85 penalty yards given to the Dawgs by Bama that led to one of our TDs in the 2nd half. Simply amazing we couldn't get a decent pass rush or any sacks against a team that gave up 36 sacks this… -
Re: Quarterback trainer: Jamie Newman fits new direction Kirby Smart taking Georgia football offense
I loved the comment about how he'll have the time to study the play book because he'll be taking online classes. Kind of pathetic but the way it is these days. I remember the early 90s when I was on the track team and took a class called "Contemporary Georgia." It was a rocks and jocks course. One of the exam questions… -
Re: Smoke Bouie shows why Kirby Smart is always recruiting for Georgia football
Everyone keeps talking about how Kirby didn't take anyone out of the portal last season, but if you recall last spring/summer, there was no roster space to add new players. Due to the extra year of eligibility from Covid, the roster projected to be significantly over the 85 max scholarship limit and the question was, how… -
Re: What separates Benjamin Yurosek from the rest of Georgia football transfer haul
No worries about Yurosek showing up late. He is a given. A proven commodity. He will miss spring so he must somehow keep up his conditioning and strength. He should have access to most of what he needs on campus at Stanford. If he doesn't keep chopping he will be passed by the remaining BB disciples in the UGA TE room.… -
Re: Usage of Oscar Delp will say a lot about how Georgia views the future of the tight end position
@UGADad20 I don't think BAMA "thumped us". Maybe you're definition of thumping is a little more nuanced than mine. We lost by 3 points. We shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times with a penalty that pushed a very makeable field goal to a lot lower percentage one and we missed it. We had the only turnover in the game… -
Re: Where Georgia football roster sits from a scholarship standpoint after 2024 National Signing Day
It seems to me that if we are going to cut 4 player to make the 85 scholarship limit.....DB's have the most upper class-men that I know little about/lack of game snaps thus far and is ripe with in coming and red shirt freshmen that I believe will out perform in practice the upper class-men. We are RIPE with experienced… -
Re: LSU quarterback Joe Burrow: Georgia defense had surprises, forced scrambles
Defense was not an issue. The offense could not sustain drive nor score points when it was needed. The offense should no improvement throughout the season nor did Jake Fromm. It all falls on the HC and the OC. If you have kids dropping passes replace them with someone who can. I am sure out of a team of 85 you can find… -
Re: Opinion: There's still time for UGA's offense to prove its Playoff worthy
I was at the game Saturday on the 50 yard line, great seats. So much better than TV because you can see the routes play out. Too bad Fromm doesn't see them because D-ROB is fast, and he was open on about 85% of the pass plays. Fromm is not anticipating well at all, and seems to lack confidence. Until Fromm speeds up his… -
Re: 5-star cooking tips
This person knows what he's talking about. Thermoworks makes two good instant read thermometers - $85 Thermapen and $35 ThermoPop. I had a ThermaPen, but it stopped working shortly after my father-in-law -- for reasons still unknown -- stuck it in a grill flame. That's a no-no. Since I had a ThermoPop already in my… -
Re: How ‘tough coach’ Kirby Smart has modified championship player management skills
Fans don’t know the locker room and aren’t privy to the coaches’ evaluations of the rostered players. About all we have to go on is a player’s rating/ranking coming out of high school and mostly conjecture by sports bloggers who need to write something even when there’s nothing to write about in order to produce clicks to…
