Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: What transfer decision of Jermaine Burton really says about Georgia football wide receiver room
Actually @T_Dawg , Coach Smart doesn't think (or at least, talk) like most fans. He actually said that it would be a good thing, in some cases, for some of these players to transfer. Coach Smart gets it. He can only have 85 scholarship players on the team at a time, so just simple math means that somebody is going to have… -
Re: What the first transfer portal window tells us about the 2024 Georgia football roster
Humphrey and Harris are Dawgs for now. Let's see if they remain Dawgs after Spring practice. Hope so but they've already shown that they're more than willing to look elsewhere. In Humphrey's case, it seems like if he can get a better NIL deal elsewhere, he'll be gone. The same may be true of Harris. So, we'll see how it… -

Re: Georgia football winners and losers following SEC championship, College Football Playoff decision
I respect Bobo, but I’m on the fence about him as OC. My 85-year-old mother, who has been a Dawg fan since before I was born, asked me on Saturday, “Why are they still trying to run between the tackles?”. I replied, “You, me, and everyone else is wondering the same thing”. She replied, “Well, Coach Kirby should know better… -
Re: What we learned about Georgia football in first transfer portal window
UGA currently has 91 players on scholarship or signed to come in May/June. If you add Meriweather, hopefully Duce and maybe 1 other February 1st the total could be 94 which is 9 over NCAA limit (85). There will be at least 9 other departures via the portal, medical/academic reasons or non-public early draft entries. -
Re: Georgia basketball loses double-digit halftime lead at Kentucky, falls 85-71
Losing at Rupp by 3 points is nothing to be ashamed of. I am thrilled at the progress our new coach and players are making. Never could understand how we can field championship football teams with 85 players yet seem incapable of fielding championship basketball teams with 15 people. The trends are very promising for… -
Re: Georgia football finishes ranked No. 3 in final Coaches Poll for 2023 season
“While Florida State was missing many players due to opt-outs, Georgia was nearly at full strength“. Tired of hearing it (lazy narrative)….FSU dresses 53 and UGA dresses what, 60?? Fact is, the Dawgs have better talent (all 85) and better coaches from top to bottom. It wouldn’t have mattered how many FSU dressed, it would… -
Re: OFF TOPIC WARNING - IMG’s Daniel Faalele
Boy if he learns the game he is going to be a beast in a few years. I wanted Georgia to sign him red shirt him for a year with a year under Pittman he could have been great recruit and think Georgia could and wood have. If it was not for the pesky NCAA 85 player limit and that SEC limit on 25 in a year.
