Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
You've been on point with insightful stuff. I'm a little perplexed as to those who cannot accept that we missed (so far at least) on a kid to South Cakahakee. Muschamp has ALWAYS been a good recruiter and his staff has nice recruiters as well. Maybe the Lloyd family just liked the opportunity in Columbia more. Maybe they… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Great insight...and I didn’t mean to completely disregard the factors you mention above. Football aside - some kids are more willing than others to try an entirely different environment in a different part of the country for their college experience while others prefer to still be relatively close to their hometown,… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Ironically, texdawgs quote wont go away but I believe it was in regards to this same topic I’m responding to. Why are wins and losses being downplayed so much recently. I feel it’s indicative to iron sharpens iron / additional resources / quality coaching / NFL networks. Not that TAMU is short of any of that but they are… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
If he has to go to a rival then Florida might be ideal. It's also a big, big mistake for his college career. They have no discipline. None. Remember taco hotdog? That guy was out of control during the Miami game, jumping around like an idiot at the camera with his hand up going NUMBER ONEEEE even though they were playing… -

NCAA Manual 15.02.9 Recruited Student-Athlete. For purposes of Bylaw 15, a recruited student-athlete is a student-athlete who, as a prospective student-athlete: (Adopted: 1/15/11 effective 8/1/11, Revised: 4/25/18) (a) Was provided an official visit to the institution's campus; (b) Had an arranged, in-person, off-campus… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
We missed 1 today. 1 time. Stroud isn’t a miss when he’s a Cali kid and we entered the race at a significant deficit. Gilbert was an 11th hour rumor that we only wanted to be true. Maybe there was a convo between Stroud, Burton & Gilbert, but it didn’t yield anything. Burch is the only miss. I did expect we would land him… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
If I were Kirby I’d focus on Ga talent almost exclusively. Build rock solid relationships with schools and let the abundance of elite Ga players fill this roster. Make it a forgone conclusion that the best Ga guys have homes on this team. This would lessen the effect of losing position coaches along the way. Plenty of… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Before this train gets rolling...I’ll remind everyone that I told y’all chatter was going to pick up on Ringo with Oregon and Texas. If I knew about this coming, staff knew about this coming. I’ll say it, “nothing to see here.” Like isn’t greater than Love. Amazing isn’t greater than FAMILY. This is part of recruiting the… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
@JeffSentell, great article. Kendall and the Milton family seem like the kind of people any program would want, and not just for what he can accomplish on a football field. Also, I know all parents are involved in their kids recruitment to some degree, but it seems Chris Milton is taking the role of spokesman, letting his… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
I trust our staff and I’ll acknowledge he’s the croot that I don’t understand the love fest with his game. Felt that he should’ve been allowed to walk vs. letting Burroughs. Still waiting to see or hear something that makes me think he’s going to be a significant contributor to our team. Havent seen anything about his game…
