Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
@SquillDawg I’m not sure I missed the episode but I do believe Paris is prototypical LT, with best feet and hands in his class. I saw @JeffSentell mention RS, and I don’t disagree with that as Mays and Condon will be in year 3 but I don’t consider Paris a project (like a Darnell Wright from 19). Hopefully that makes sense. -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
2020 DSGBs in the class: Tate Ratledge, Jermaine Burton, Warren Brinson, Naz Stackhouse, Justin Robinson, Austin Blaske, and Brod Jones (assuming he sticks). 7 out of 19. Not bad considering we might also get the number 1 player in Nevada and Arizona added soon. Guessing we go heavy for georgia in 2021/22 -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
2018 Scavenger Hunt List: Nolan Smith - Dawg Arik Gilbert - ??? Nakobe Dean - Dawg Jermaine Johnson - Dawg Rian Davis - Dawg Tyrique Stevenson - Dawg (7 other came but didn’t not commit to the G in the end, 2 decommited, 1 was not heavy pursued in the end and 1 “squeezed out”) Essentially 50% 5-10 here for ‘19 with a… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Dawgs don’t have recent first round d-linemen to showcase like Bama and CU do. it will take a year or two before CTS and Kirby can point to UGAs system as a developer of NFL linemen Hopefully Marshall, Carter, and Rochester have breakthrough years in 19 and we can get this train rolling. If not, Jordan Davis and Herring… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Yeah. Was excited about his speed in return game while he developed as wr. Blaylock was solid late in year on returns but did not strike fear in opponents and not a game changer. Also, thought that class was full and almost set a couple months ago. Now, not sure if we get 20 of names on those old boards. New names for… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
I agree they wont take 38 but would say 27/28 could be depending on transfers out and Early Draft possibilities. It appears from their roster that 19 will be out of eligibility after this season and McMichael already in the portal implies they will have at least 20 spots available. I would think that Etienne, Higgins,… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
He definitely has his blind spots but I don't think that statement was about protecting Coley it was about protecting Fromm (the difference between Burrow and Fromm goes far beyond the receivers they have). Even if all of the WRs/TEs from 18 came back in 19, I don't think we would be doing what LSU is offensively but at… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Never is a mighty long time guys, especially for recruits that haven’t even made it to college yet. Yes, Arik, Darnell, Theo are more athletic and have higher upside than Cam. There’s a lot that goes into putting your hand in the dirt in the SEC though. Can’t gauge heart and will when you’re measuring skill. All 4 would be… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Xavier Henderson (4 star WR) set to take OV to uf this weekend. OV to UGA 10-19 / OV to Bama 9-27. (Lots of trips to uf, due to proximity and brother) Scheduled to announce commitment Jan 4th. UGA is in this, but is probably in 3rd. Could he have his final OV scheduled with Clemson ? (Could depend how this weekend goes id… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
As best as I can determine right now. Georgia has 82 scholarship players. There are 19 signed or enrolled for the 2020 class plus two transfers from last season and two for the 2020 season. There are also two commits who are not signed. The list of possible recruits include 5 stars Zachary Evans and Jordan Burch plus…
