Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Georgia football winners and losers from first scrimmage
I'm sorry but I'm confused with the lack of depth at receiver and pass catchers narrative. I don't buy it it all! I think its a position the quite frankly has too much depth (like every position at Georgia)! Which is why Robertson, Bush and Landers all transfered (and all are starting quality receiver even if not at UGA… -
Re: 3 things: Texas, Oklahoma move toward SEC a continuation of college football evolution
A playoff platform would have to be 16 teams now. 12 teams mean that 4 schools play an extra playoff game. College football doesn't need a wild card round [ this isn't the NFL]. As it stands now there are 10 conferences in FBS [Division 1-A]. For a conference champion to qualify for the playoffs they would have to play… -
Re: SEC Network host calls out Dan Mullen for ‘shocking’ behavioral tendencies, picks Georgia over Flori
Mullen does seem like somewhat of a Teflon Don. He loses to Alabama in a game where his team never led, but he has "closed the gap" because the score was close in the end. Kirby has led Alabama in every game but it's viewed as a major failure despite losing every time in a close game. Mullen finally wins the East, finally… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: Evaluating the hits and misses for UGA’s WR recruiting
A bit of a comment and perspective on the "pass" vs. "run" debate (which, IMO, is a false debate), the notion that running backs, for one example, want to run the ball on every play (exaggeration to make a point, yes) is nuts. Orn the other hand, the idea that receivers don't appreciate LB's creeping up to stop the run....… -
Re: Divaad Wilson, Hines Ward show the importance of rehab when it comes to a potential George Pickens r
Folks....Lets be real honest and frank with one another. Here are the true facts. Knee injuries are serious injuries that require extended long periods of rehabilitation. This injury is not your average broken bone or dislocated shoulder that can heal in a 2 or 3 months and the patient is 100% back to playing competitive… -
Re: DawgNation Georgia vs. Cincinnati Peach Bowl GameDay schedule beginning to end
With all due respect to Cincy if the Dawgs lose to them, then Dawgs fans need to be Very, Very concerned !! Worried would be a better word. KS @ UGA has out recruited them with five hands down !! And unless he’s hiding them some where else on his person he only has two hands !! The Dawgs are By Far better in every way at… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: Excitement builds for JT Daniels' possible UGA debut
It would be nice to be a bit more "analytical" on the Daniels question, Brandon. The idea that people will compare "numbers" from Daniels to Bennett (Ark, etcetera) is seriously lacking. Have you actually watched JT's tape from USC? He's flicking 45 yard dimes into tight pockets to covered receivers. What we really want to… -
Re: Georgia coach Kirby Smart details center issues that hindered offense against Arkansas
According to another post by Jeff Sentell, Webb did not even travel to Arkansas and like you @Dawg365 , that's surprising to me, given all the hype about him when we recruited him. But someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Webb have some off-field issues last year or something? It didn't seem major, as I… -
Re: Fromm, Burrow, and Eason
Superior talent? At WR? Compared to who....Mizzou? Well yeah he does. Compared to LSU, Bama, Clemson or Ohio St? No he doesn't and it is not close. Fromm has had lower tier NFL WRs. Not bad but none of these guys can get on the field (barely making a team) at the next level except Mecole. And even he has only seen 20 snaps… -
Re: Commissioner Greg Sankey: SEC still considering full football schedule
YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING, RIGHT? At this point I cannot believe anyone is seriously considering still having a full slate of games and a 'normal' college football season. WOW. Sankey must be desperate for cash. There are too many variables and issues beyond coaches or any college administrator's control for college…
