Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: COVID-19 Check-in
It is very unlikely that thus far children would be the source of family infection. They don't go to bars or nightclubs or to dine-in restaurants unaccompanied and haven't been in school. Some do stay with elder siblings while the parents go out or even stay with 1 parent while the other goes to the store. With schools… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Here in indiana, we went from 5 to 50 cases very quickly. It can be attributed to 2 things. No hospitals in the area, other than a couple here locally in Indianapolis, had tests to check for infection. The second was people just weren't taking it very seriously. Since Friday, we went from cautious optimism to sheltering in… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Our DAWG family, including all of our "little DAWGS" are all alive and well way out here in San Diego!!!! Photo is all of our kids, and two of their cousins (my almost grown and large kid niece, and then my little nephew who is next to my youngest son in the front) all with Grandma (my sweet mother in law) on the 4th of… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
I'm not saying don't look into, I'm just saying go cautiously. Just about everyone and their aunt has had Levaquin (levofloxacin) or Cipro (ciprofloxacin). They are very common antibiotics. But another drug in the same quinolone class called alatrofloxacin was removed several years ago world wide due to liver failure and… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
I'm in middle Georgia. My folks are in the San Francisco Bay Area. Got family in Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and North Carolina. Friends in several other states. On a family zoom meeting the topic came up. My brother and his wife were surprised to hear so much activity was still going on since they had been couped up and… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Our company mandate was to shut down last week. I’ve been on the couch since last Wednesday. This was a special circumstance that caused him to be in the field and since he was closest to that hospital, he drove as flight travel has been suspended. To be fair he said he felt off Saturday and blamed it on fatigue. Was in… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
I can tell you in a nicer way that hospitals all over the country are struggling and many are empty. A very close friend of mine is head trauma surgeon at Methodist in Dallas and he said it has become a real issue. Obviously not in New York city and I'm sure other areas are struggling as well. But I'll end my post @pocoyo… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Sorry, not a CV-19 report, but just checking in, since this thread is good for that. A friend of mine died tonight, after a long fight with cancer, leaving behind a wife and three kids, ages 16-21. Another friend is currently comforting his 18yo daughter, who just had her leg amputated as she wages her own battle with… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Real world example back......because families don't have many places to travel for vacation because foreign countries will quarantine.....and because business are not having their salesman travel because of fear from backlash or because their just isn't enough business to support travel. Texan can't travel to New York,… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
@CaliforniaDawg My family and I are still alive and kicking down here in San Diego. I suppose we are in for quite a long haul as it relates to the news of the last few weeks/months in the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. Many blessings to any, and all who read these words in this post, because that means you are still here!!!…
