Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: What Braves should do now...
Agreed. WAR and WRC+ are nice in some respects but OBP trumps for me. Not to go all Moneyball on everyone but the most important thing a hitter can do is to not make an out, in most situations that is (love me a nice SAC bunt every now and then). Call me a homer but I still think the Braves end up with Realmuto. JT has… -

Re: What Braves should do now...
Pollock hasn't had a good season in awhile. McCutchen would project slightly better, though he's not the player he once was. Haniger has 1 good year, he might repeat, but it's a thin resume. Gallo is the ultimate hit or miss guy, it's hr or bust, no thanks. I'd like to have Brantley but so would a lot of teams. -
Re: What Braves should do now...
Looks like a great deal for the Braves, especially considering it’s only for 1 year. Markakis is coming off a season in which he won a Gold Glove and a Silver Slugger Award. At this price, it won’t hurt the Braves if he does all of a sudden lose it and has to be benched. If nothing else, Markakis will be a great clubhouse… -
Re: What Braves should do now...

Camargo might could play some in RF, but he'll be valuable as a utility infielder. I do hate Camargo won't have an every day… -
Re: What Braves should do now...
Markakis is 4 years and 1 month older than pollack. AJ is freshly 31 and nick turned 35 in November. Moreover pollack has battled injuries for seemingly every season, but when he has been healthy he’s a better hitter and fielder than nick. Nick had an absurd 2018, destroying his projections and playing in all 162 games…
