We're getting to the point in the season where I look at what it will take for either Washington or Philly to catch us. If we just play .500 the rest of the way ( 26-26) it will take one of them going 33-21 just to tie us. The longer we can hold this 7 game lead or expand it the tougher it will get for them. -

Well, first off I’d think he needs to be better than the guy he replaced. Camargo was .276/19/76 last year. Camargo is younger, cheaper and under team control longer. I’d think reasonable expectations for a guy making that kind of money and at his age (only 33) would be .280ish/25/100. What are your expectations? -

Yep it's great to see Gausman looking ready to be a factor. Maybe the starting pitching we need to add is already on roster. A couple of varied observations. Ideally Martin throws like 30 innings this year, which means sobotka doesn’t throw 30. Martins innings are better than sobotkas innings. That’s the only real impact, not necessarily that we get to move guys down the bullpen pecking order. We just move somebody to Gwinnett, who probably deserves to be sent down anyway.…
