Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Retiring referee admits they blew Tyler Simmons call in national championship game
Yep. If I recall, one of those was blatant and helped them in getting a stop on third down (Swift was basically tackled by the facemask), the inexcusable no-call essentially amounting to the refs taking the ball from Georgia and giving it to bama. And another two times Alabama players threw punches out in the open without… -
Re: To the Mod….
@Teddy , @JRT812 , @levander , @RPMdawg It was an innocuous and somewhat lame attempt at mild humor. I can’t believe that even Brett or his parents would have found it offensive even if they didn’t find it even mildly amusing. Something I hate to do is explain a joke, because if it was lame to begin with, explaining it… -
Re: Does Marcus Rosemy...
Obviously all 4 guys we landed in this class can ball. Each one brings a different "style" to the table. All of them do have the ability to take the top off of any defense. That single element alone has me more excited about any guys we've brought in since KS's arrival. We've got 2 extremely good route runners with amazing… -
Re: Stetson Bennett a ‘tricky’ evaluation entering 2023 NFL Draft Combine
QB is a different evaluation. Face of the franchise. Leader of the team. Tebow was considered the ultimate team leader and squeaky clean, flawless character. How many times was Tebow arrested for public intoxication or appeared on the Good Morning America show inebriated? Just facts to balance your narrative. Tebow also… -
Re: Ohio State: Georgia offense does look a lot like Michigan, from quarterback on down
@reddawg1 It wasn't flukes. Michigan runs old school pro-style football. Totally different mindset from the spread strategy. In that style of play, you spend the entire game establishing something that consistently works for short and intermediate gains, like 4 yard runs and 7 yard pass plays. It has a dual purpose. The… -
Re: ESPN projects another Georgia record-breaking NFL Draft class teed up with 3 Top 10 picks
UGA players enter the NFL with the reputation as prepared, professional and ready to work hard. I see JC, BJ, NS, KR and DWash all being drafted in the 1st 35-40 picks. KMcI, McC and CS could (should?) all go a rd earlier than MG's projection. CS is small for S by NFL standards and didn't run a fast 40 time. That makes him… -
Re: Cover 4 on Georgia football: Who will lead the ‘Dawgs in sacks this season?
Brandon and Jeff, agree about Cousin Nolan leading the team in sacks. His production has gone up exponentially each year, and I think he has a drive about him. I believe his sack of BY to end the NC game showed what his mindset will be this season! I'd love for Nolan, Beal, etc. all to have the same amount with plenty to… -
Re: Kirby Smart praises mindset of Kelee Ringo, wants more consistency from Arik Gilbert
I think all the hype is because Arik is, as most experts say, a “generational” talent and the highest rated HS TE in history of the recruiting services. I remember several years ago watching a special report on the SEC Network or College Gameday where they broke down his skill set after several LSU games. He was beyond… -
Re: ESPN lays out why Oregon opener is key for Georgia football College Football Playoff return
No, this isn't true. Look at the stats, OK? UGA did not have a 1000 (or even 900) yard rusher, a 1000 (or again 900) yard receiver or a 3000 yard passer. UGA "scored 39 points per game" because the defense held teams under 7 points a game. They forced a lot of turnovers and 3-and-outs that gave UGA a ton of short fields.… -
Re: Every Georgia football fan had the same reaction after Michigan wins Joe Moore Award
Also check the ypc for Michigan's RBs - 6.0 and 7.5 - to the ypc for UGA's backs ... no one over 5.2. Further, I have no idea why Michigan's getting destroyed by UGA's historic front 7 in 2021 means that they didn't deserve the Joe Moore Award. Did UGA's OL have to block 5 future first round picks (Wyatt, Davis, Walker,…
