Re: Braves 2025
I could've scored on that fly ball.
Bruce Benedict hopping on one leg could have scored on that one lol. I give credit to the Mets CF to at least run it down. Most guys just give up on that ball.

Re: Braves 2025
Agree. This is the best time to do it. For the 2025 Bravos, these divisional games are a necessity. They have to make up ground on their division foes. They seem to be on a bit of a roll - hitting is a little better, pitching still good. Especially nice to see Iglesias come in a high leverage situation and perform up to his abilities. Fingers crossed that the hitting continues while we have two of our aces scheduled. Might it be time to add Schwelly to the "aces" list?
Re: Braves 2025
I caught the game late. Braves down 4-1 with two outs in the bottom of the eighth, but with the bases loaded. Ozuna with a terrific at bat nailing an inside pitch (which looked off the plate to me) for a bases-clearing double to tie it up.
Riley with one out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th hits a deep drive near the wall on the first pitch that the centerfielder made a great play on, but never had a chance to throw out Williams tagging up from third. Braves win 5-4.
I could've scored on that fly ball.

Re: Braves 2025
Good win for the Bravos. Sale and Strider teed up for the next two.
If they are going to turn it around this would be a good time to do it.

Re: Christen Miller demonstrates one key difference between previous Georgia defensive lines
Gabe Harris has been injured both seasons he’s been here. That’s what I was getting at.
If the offense doesn’t give the opposing team the ball as much as in 24 the defense should improve. Nate Frazier has to hold on to the ball and I don’t think Gunner will throw as many INTs as Carson did last year.

Re: Christen Miller demonstrates one key difference between previous Georgia defensive lines
Without that 350 lb middle tackle, the dogs will be giving up yards and points. CM is good, but he needs a big guy to eat up two tackles. Jordan Hall is 320 - but more in line with a regular tackle. The dawgs have a couple options - Nasier Johnson and Ogoboko. Can they get ready?
Re: Christen Miller demonstrates one key difference between previous Georgia defensive lines
while I agree with most of what you said, I think Gabe Harris needs to be healthy too. If these four are healthy and contribute the defense shouldn’t miss a beat.

Re: Christen Miller demonstrates one key difference between previous Georgia defensive lines
JJA has been here one season. Little too early to lump him in with those other 2.
