Re: 91 - 80…..
I know that I know absolutely nothing at all…. I also know that I am merely a fan typing all of this in here. Now, I DO BELIEVE, or I think that Georgia WILL make it into the NCAA tournament (AKA - the dance) , unless they totally melt down in these last two regular season ending games versus Alabama, and then on the road at Mississippi State…. they will also need to have themselves a respectable SEC tournament (what exactly that is?, I have NO EARTHLY IDEA???)…. but, IF THEY CAN DO ALL of that?? Then they'll make it in… ANYTHING AT ALL for Georgia AFTERWARDS playing in "the dance" ←that would all be just some very thick, delicious, and quite tasty gravy!!!!! GO DAWGS!!!
Re: anyone out there?
Did you ever read "Ball Four" by Jim Bouton? He spilled the dirt and named names, including Mantle, and people were not happy when it cam out in 1970.
See below from Wikipedia:
Re: anyone out there?
Lol read that book…..funniest book ever of baseball and the life especially on the road. An honest season from a players point of view…

2 thoughts; (1) might it be that you've become more aware of the "seedy" side of sports, the greed that seems to exist in both owners and players along with alleged mis-doings or (2) might it be that you more deeply understand that it is just a game and not all that important - it doesn't fill the same spots in yourself anymore.
That's my self-diagnosis of me. I still remember being so disappointed when I saw, as a naive youth, pictures of Mickey Mantle and **** Ford smoking cigarettes in uniform. I think it was downhill from there, for me.
Re: anyone out there?
looks like we’re trying to get a pass rush specialist to be at OLB coach. Long overdue imo
Re: Early 2026 quarterback rankings show Gunner Stockton still have more to prove for Georgia
Gunner has much to prove. Needs to see the field better. Too many open guys running free last season. He’s gotta start hitting those guys.

Re: 91 - 80…..
Yes I do remember, certainly didn’t expect it.
Didn’t expect it in ‘96 either, that was a good team, but certainly didn’t expect them to finish in the final 16. Tubby seemed like he always had them playing well, they should have beat Syracuse that day…had them on the ropes.
Don’t think too many expected what happened in ‘83 either, especially the year after losing Dominque.
Thinks we just need to grab another big azz TE from the football team this year…just like ole Larry Brown:
Re: anyone out there?
My love of sports has definitely diminished over the recent years. Don't know if it's because of ESPN and sports broadcasting in general…. but I just don't get excited about sports like I used to.
