Hightower transfers

Teshaun Hightower announced his intention to transfer to Tulane where he will play for former GA State coach, Hunter. This is more good news for the Dawgs as it opens a scholarship for a younger player and a position at PG. Hightower has not contributed much in two years although he’s had a lot of starts. Expect a PG transfer or signee soon.

Jordan Goldwire from Duke will be available. Heard from his source close to him they're looking to make a move. With the class they just signed and Tre Jones he won't see the floor. Someone just needs to make the connection and there's a chance he'll come to UGA.

It sounded like if Claxton got a first round grade that he'd be gone.

There's a real chance with this weak draft he gets a first round grade. He's not ready to play in the NBA, but he has all kinds of tools that teams would look to mold and might not mind being a G-leaguer at least at the start.

I agree. That he was invited to the NBA Combine shows you people like what they see. The question may be if he’d rather develop for a year in the G-league or in another season at Georgia. My guess is we’ve seen the last of big Clax in Athens.
