It's hard to win against the hottest team in baseball over the past 3 months when your MVP candidate cleanup hitter is giving you nothing.
Oh well, all hands on deck Wednesday at 5:10 pm in Atlanta. I'm pretty sure Folty will start.
I still like our chances if Folty is on his game. I have a feeling Freddie will finally show up as well.
0-5......another poor game.
Sit him game 5???
who are you advocating to start over him
No way snit will sit him. Unless they find out he really is hurt
Was this a real question?
The real question is will the Braves bring out the “Chop” since cardinals rookie Ryan Helsley said it’s offensive and disrespectful to his Native American family?
Apparently his comments didn't carry much weight with the local football team (KC Chiefs). They were chanting in full force last night.
I agree, just hope he pulls out of it.
Folty in win or go home game. If he comes out firing on all cylinders like in game 2, I like our chances. If not, snit will have a very short leash today, regardless of who is on the mound.
I like our chances today, we wont spot them 2 runs to begin and we will control the game the whole way. Cards have been hanging in there all series but today will run out of options.
Cardinals also have a good pitcher going too. He posted a 0.91 ERA over his last 15 regular season starts. Hope Folty and Freeman get it going. And the Braves overall can hit when they get some runners in scoring position. That killed them last game.
Would it be a Braves post season if we didn't all feel sick during the whole series?
We're going to have to get to their starter and Folty has to pitch well. It's a simple game at it's core.
Confidence level for today? At this point, I have no idea how it'll play out. Folty may pitch like an ace again or he might give up four homers.
I can't wait for the game, and at the same time I'm dreading it.
