Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Do any of y'all have spotify? Or are you just using Pandora? I think my wife just set up a spotify acct, what are some other good alternatives?
Not currently listening to much pop punk but my tastes are cyclical, probably will be back into it in a few months who knows
I always liked The Story So Far on the current side. Dude ranch era Blink 182 still rides.
Hardcore punk is go to but I know most hate it ha
I own so much of my own music I re-listen to that. I have to really like something new to buy it
I enjoy spotify. I had 10,000+ songs on my iTunes but then my ipod crapped out so had to find something else
Ditto, especially with some classic Townes Van Zandt, and Guy Clark, thrown in.
I'm looking forward to it
Awesome. Amen brotha.
Great thread @Acrum21.
Nice to get a break from arguing about stuff we probably don't know what we're talking about
I had to youtube Colter Wall, holy crap. I did not expect his voice to come at me like that
My lady saw him live last year and loved him
Love panic, don’t see anyone knocking them off my #1 spot for a while. Recently been getting into the misfits and Danzig’s solo work, love the punk/metal sound combined with Morrison-esque vocals. I’m young so the country music I’ve grown up with is complete garbage
Listening to Colter Wall I know somewhere Johnny Cash is smiling.
The Menzingers, Brand New, American Football, John Lennon, YG, Against Me!, newest Goldfinger ("The Knife") is an amazing record, Gaslight Anthem, Childish Gambino, Band of Horses, Pearl Jam, looking forward to the new Neil Young and Springsteen records coming out tomorrow as well!
If you're not familiar check out Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears
If any of y’all like hip hop, check out a great artist, NF. Fantastic lyrics and clean (but heavy) bars. He is a Christian and doesn’t cuss in his music. If any of you have kids who listen to rap, it is a great one to get them listening to I stead of the trash out there. M son was listening to some rap that was shockingly full of bad lyrics, and I needed some positive alternatives. He’s a huge artist and really good.
Great bluegrass group, too, Balsam Range.
