Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Thank you.
It's legal for me. I literally order it on the internet and it is delivered the next day. But, I use a small edible amount going to sleep - I haven't gotten high in decades.
God made a plant with two miraculous active ingredients and man made it illegal.
Meanwhile man invented opioids and our country is dying
Shits wack
@DvilleDawg ... that friend of @ghostofuga1 told me you can get CBD oil at Earth Fare, too.
I went to Denver this past Feb. Was a bit of a culture shock to see so many stores with so many options. I probably spent 2 hours in different shops just amazed. Then I came back home to SC haha.
Question of the day: Do you see the light?
(animated gifs not working?)
I've been to Earth Fare but they don't really have knowledgeable staff to answer the questions I have. It is also very very expensive at Earth Fare. It may be that expensive everywhere but I thought it was a bit much.
I started smoking because of depression, and now I don't know how to quit. It's been really hard to break the habit. I could really use some lifehacks or tips from anyone who has successfully quit.
One approach that might help is to establish a routine that focuses on both physical and mental well-being. Engaging in regular exercise, maintaining a healthy diet, and exploring mindfulness techniques can significantly support your mental health and reduce the urge to smoke.
I was in a similar situation and found that transitioning to vaping was a helpful step for me. While vaping isn't without its own considerations, many find it a less harmful alternative compared to smoking, especially when paired with a supportive lifestyle change. It might be worth looking into vaping as a tool to gradually reduce nicotine dependency while you work on other strategies to improve your overall well-being. Resources like Nexus Smoke can offer guidance and support on making the switch and finding what works best for you.
And here I always thought that CBD stood for Christian Broadcasting Devotionals. Gosh, I guess I was pretty wrong, huh?? GO DAWGS!! 😂😂😂
GO DAWGS!!!
One way folks avoid "bad" foods is to not have them around the house, readily available. You might try that. A more radical approach would be to limit the time you spend around those who use and don't want to quit. And always, if possible, have a person to be your "partner" in the attempt to stop using - like a sponsor in AA.
I quit smoking cigarettes and was the hardest thing I ever had to do.
The key for me was trying again.
I would try….and fail…..try….and fail. But I kept trying.
If you try to quit and fail dont beat yourself up.
Try again. Eventually one of those attempts will succeed.
At some point everyone smokes their last one but it's better to do it while you're still alive, so keep on trying. 😉
Same here. Started smoking in the Spring of 1981, just before turning 18. Quit once for an entire calendar year from September of 1990, until September of 1991 between 27 and 28 years old. Started up again. Killed me, because I was so disappointed in myself and hooked on the nicotine too. Then in March of 2006, when I was 42, the prices went up (again) to over $4.60 a pack. I had always really, really wanted to get away from those dang freaking cigarettes, and this time? I FINALLY DID IT TOO!!! It’s been over 18 years now that I am 100% cigarette free. You too CAN REALLY DO IT!!!!
GO DAWGS!!!
Same here. Smoked for about 15 years and the last 5 or 6 were a solid pack & a half a day, and sometimes over 2 packs. Tried to quit many times and always had the internal mindset that I was fighting and fighting and fighting… and I kept losing. Then one day I somehow made up my mind that I was DONE. It was 2 PM on May 20, 2008 and I have not had a single puff since. Just a complete change in mindset. Went out for burgers & beer a couple of nights later, finished eating and friends on either side of me lit up and it didn't tempt me one bit.
